This was/is my last try at an indoor electric grill! I’m totally SOLD and will buy more for gifts because I want to share the ease of indoor grilling with family and friends. I’m posting pics so you can SEE the things I had questions about before ordering. My big complaint with indoor grilling was always the huge mess to clean up. Spatter everywhere and the wire rack never seemed to get cleaned right the first time and then the drippings were the biggest problem! I’d line the base under the heating element with foil and then have to wait AFTER messy grilling for it to thicken so I could remove the grease and fold the foil to throw it in the trash. I grilled less and less for those reasons. Let’s not forget...outdoor grills do have a lid and that’s what I missed with my 3 other grills...no top! Fast forward...I saw this grill, as a last ditch effort to being able to cook healthier for myself I decided to buy it after much thought and weighed my options of price, size and actually at first the Lid was the selling point at first sight and then I saw this all comes completely apart! Yes, the actual cooking surface lifts out of the sturdy, hard base. Also...in the base is a drip cup that slides in and out like a tiny drawer so you can pour the grease into a plastic/paper cup or even a thicker baggie and you seal it and throw it away. WHAT? Could it be that simple? YES! This item is the closest thing to smokeless that I’ve ever had. Very little smoke...you can really control any smoke if there is any, with the TEMPERATURE CONTROL and or the Lid. Temperature control....what a nice plus, seriously folks...only one of my three other expensive grills had that but I hated the grilling and the mess. I must say that clean up is/was so easy! I lifted the non-stick grilling surface out of the base, wiped any grease left off of it with a paper towel and then washed it with soapy warm water, dried it and set it back in it’s base and did the same with the lid, soapy warm water, rinse, dry and put it back on the grill. Oh, one more thing...the controls fit nicely inside with no cord sticking out or hanging. I did not miss having a grill rack at all and I still got Grill Marks on my Steaks! LOL Check out my pictures, they might answer any questions about the grill that might get answered for you. On yeah, I ordered the 14” grill and I worried it wouldn’t be big enough but as you can see? It’s plenty big enough. I had Two Fillets on it in the picture and could of had several, later I added sliced potatoes and added sliced veggies to grill which I did not take a pic of, sorry! This could cook at least six large burgers or two big sirloins at once. If you have a large family? Order according to the size cooking surface you think might work for you...better a little more than you need than not enough. My only complaint was with the delivery, the out side box it was packaged in was destroyed! The actual box the grill is in didn’t even have a scratch and was very well protected!! No Complaints about this grill at all. Happy, healthier cooking everyone. But I know it’s because I’m not eating anything fried or having food cooked that sits in oil, grease or fats. I’m glad I chose the 14” round grill. It’s perfect for cooking complete meals for TWO...from the meat, veggies and even potato slices or wedges. IF you are just cooking meat chicken or fish for the family? The 14” will serve you well but if youHAVE A FAMILY OF FOUR or more and want to just get it done all in one cooking? I’d go a little larger. You won’t be disappointed. The media could not be loaded. It cooks food extremely fast. Maybe too fast lol. But it heats up very quickly, Which is a plus. It’s easy to clean. You can detach the griddle from the stand. I’ve used it about 4-5 times now and I think it’s going out. But I Don’t Know for sure. I washed it a few times, and maybe you’re not supposed to do that lol. But it gets so messy so you have to use soap and water, instead of spot cleaning. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars only because of the lid. I kept seeing negative reviews about the lid. It needs to be deeper or either the griddle needs to be deeper. It’s pretty big. I can fit a lot of food on it. To me it doesn’t taste all that different than you cooking your food on the stove top. It’s definitely a healthier way of cooking because the food isn’t greasy after cooking it. I don’t like the way it cooks fish. But burgers, sausages and vegetables it cooks good. ... show more

This is the BEST indoor grill I've ever owned. I've had George Foreman and other brands. This one takes the prize. It cooks well. It leaves the meat juice, even when you cook it well done, abs the best part is that it's easy to clean.

I love it - have used it almost every day since receiving. I had several restaurants, BBQ & soul food & a catering business - wish I'd had this, or several of these then! Chops, steaks, chicken, eggs, bacon, potatoes, dogs, brauts, onions & veggies, toast, garlic bread, fish, anything you can grill works great! Just grilled 6 prime steaks. Brushed the grill with maple bacon grease, (use anything you like for flavor) forgot to defrost them so I put them on frozen, covered & turned up to about 250 - once separated, I liberally seasoned them & kept turning every few minutes, adjusted the heat up or down as needed, seasoned some more (we love our seasonings) and let them cook for a couple of hours. I also retrieved the juices from the catcher & marinated them until we were ready to eat - oh, also cut up some sweet onions, topped the steaks & by the time they came out - the best steaks ever! I’ve had this for over a year now and it works great. Our food comes out nice, the controls work fine and are easy to adjust, it comes apart really easily. My review is 3 stars b/c cleaning it is something that deters me from using it more often. All those little ridges are places that grease collects and you don’t notice it until you’re done washing. Since the base isn’t something you can submerge in water and it’s so large it just means a lot of scrubbing especially if you let it sit. My husband made burgers earlier and I just spent 5 mins scrubbing this with a brush that won’t take off the coating and dawn soap after first wiping as much oil off with paper towels and after rinsing there are still areas I missed. This happens no matter who washes it. It has to be rewashed. So if I want to quickly grill something just for me I tend to not use this b/c I have a pan with grill ridges that’s easier to clean. This is fantastic for like pizza or things you’d cook in foil and don’t want to use your oven. ... show more
