Purchased all the way through and really love this scooter! I originally bought it to commute in NYC. Let me start by saying that I am a woman and have never owned a motorized scooter before, and this one comes with a cushion. Out of the box, the scooter was basically all assembled. All I had to do was plug in the cords, attach the front end, and screw the front end into place and it was all done! The app is simple and easy to use. Next, I read the instructions carefully, as there are some things to avoid doing so that the battery doesn't explode. Finally, after half an hour of practicing, I got the hang of it. The scooter is well built and my favorite part is the soft cushion and the removable basket. The biggest benefit for me. The scooter keeps folding while being ridden. This is a safety hazard. The scooter itself has a smooth ride, good charging life, and easy to handle. We got a faulty product. It has been returned and we’re looking to purchase a new one, however are not pleased with having to pay another shipping fee.

I purchased two of these scooters for me and my wife. They arrived packed very secure. Assembly was effortless, install the bars and secure with four bolts. Right away I noticed the bars are not aligned properly with the front wheel on one unit, the other's latch barely alighned. These appear to be sold under other name brands, the manual and phone application are 1Plus branded. So far I've tested one unit for a few miles, it performs well and does around 16mph with me being 220lbs. Will update as I get more use. Overall the scooters are built pretty well but have some minor defects which leads me to believe these are being sold as seconds under a different name brand. Now that I see the manual is a 1Plus scooter I may have bought that brand for the exact same price. So initiall impression is around 3 stars, if they continue to work well and are reliable I think I could look past the minor defects and up to four stars. Time will tell. Update: I've used both scooters for about 40miles bombing around camp and local town use, so far they have performed well for what they are. With a smaller person they will do 19mph, as noted I'm 220lbs and have seen around 17mph. Battery Life is ok, I get about 10 miles before performance starts to suffer. Once you hit 2 out of 5 bars of battery life the scooters top speed and acceleration drop. These were my first electric scooters, for under $300 they are pretty good. Knowing now what I didn't know then I would have spent more and gotten a namebrand scooter with some sort of suspension. These will knock you fillings out hitting small bumps! I worry once something fails I will not be able to get any parts or service on These so they will become junk. So after all that I've bumped the rating up to 4 stars. If they last around 300 miles I think I will come back and change to 5 stars. ... show more

Looks great and this scooter is perfect for me. I'm in my 65's, weigh 165 lbs and live in SE Florida where all the roads are flat. I bought this scooter last Christmas and I still use it for short errands (gym, pool, rec center, grocery shopping, haircut, bank, etc.). I love the seat and basket feature on it. Everything still works and needs no repairs. It still goes 19 mph and gets 15 to 20 miles per charge. I figure this saves money on gas and reduces wear and tear on the car. By my calculations, it costs only 1 cent per mile to charge. That compares to $0.20 per mile for gasoline. And at $400, it's a lot cheaper than a $60,000 electric car. ... show more

This scooter is very light and can be folded. This is what I value most about it. It took me about 30 minutes to install it. I put it at my yard and installed it quickly. The pre-configured battery power is still enough. Yes, I tested it and it was very powerful. I charged it to full charge the next night. On the weekend, I took it to the beach to really feel all his power with my family. I must say it’s true. I am very satisfied because he has a chair. Sitting on it improves the comfort and he does not need to stand all the time. I am really happy. We played at the beach for a whole day and the battery was not completely used up.
