  • Great scooter
I bought this scooter as a graduation gift for my son, so he can save gas and be able to get around on campus being a freshman. I'm am so pleased to say it's sturdy durability is worth every penny spent. The weight capacity is over 260lbs + and the speed is great. It folds very easy. He loves the turn signals, brake light and the headlights especially at night because he's visible to others. It's has way more features than then described. Battery life is long lasting. Height adjustment is good. So many good things but the best is the scooter allow my son to make it to class on time and 2 months as a college student he was just inducted in to the Honors College and has all A's I'm so proud of him and he so thankful he doesn't have to walk around campus and he said it's fun to ride with great functionality. All his friends want one. I highly recommend this purchase. ... show more

  • Best Scooter for the money
Style: EC8 Black (18 Miles 350W)
I bought this scooter one month ago to take me to and from a new job. My goal was to buy an excellent scooter which did not cost a lot of money. This scooter is amazing. It has high quality materials, is sturdy, has multiple speed modes and easily goes up hills( i weigh 160). Honestly, with tax it is the best $300 i have ever spent. For the price it is a beautiful machine. One thing to be aware of, the headlight is not sufficient for nightnl travel. I use a 1200 lumens head lamp to make night travel permissible. If you want a high quality scooter and don't want to pay a fortune this scooter is the best option. Simply, I love the thing and it is a tremendous value for what you pay. The battery is Excellent and easy to charge. Assembly is beyond easy! ... show more

  • Smooth ride
Style: EC8 Black (18 Miles 350W)
I haven't done a great range test on this yet but plan to and should hopefully update the review once I can, but this has been a fantastic scooter for getting around the neighborhood on. The pneumatic tires provide a MUCH smoother ride than the solid tires others have that I've tried, and the rear suspension seems to aid in the smoother ride. I haven't had a way yet to properly gauge the speed on this thing but it feels like it's registering a much faster speed than you're going. While it says I'm traveling at 19mph it feels more like 15 or 16, but again that's something I plan on hopefully clocking and updating the review on later. The blinkers, although exist, are mostly decorative and gimmicky as they're on the sides of your handles, not visible from the front or back of the scooter. The throttle is also very strange, a light push and it lurches forward and is hard to maintain slower speeds. For example, pressing the throttle only 1/4 of the way and you're at about 75% of the top speed, so the other 3/4 of the throttle is nearly useless. As far as a range estimate, so far I feel I may be able to get a good 10 miles out of it based on my usage around the neighborhood as I can usually go about a week of traveling between some of the neighborhood houses for visits between charges. Again, something I hope to do a proper range test and update on. With the poor weather lately and the trails being damaged and closed from the hurricanes it may be a bit before I can get to that update. Overall, even with the above mentioned drawbacks, I love this scooter, and think it's perfect for around the neighborhood or a college campus or even in the city. The price is about on par with others in this class. ... show more

  • Light-weight, but short range
Style: EC8 Black (18 Miles 350W)
I have used this for 3 weeks. Pro: - Lightweight, easy to carry - Simple control. - Pneumatic tires. Did not feel the shock at all. Con: - Brake could be slipping. Don't go too fast if you sense imminent stopping chances. - Short range. I have only 5 miles round trip to travel each day. however, the batter indicator fell from 5 (full) to 2 or 3 each time when I commuted back home. I guess frequent stopping on the busy city roads could contribute to the draining of the battery. ... show more

  • Excellent for the price
This is my first e-scooter, so I don't have anything to compare it to other than a couple of rides on a lime scooter. I took this on a road trip so I could use the bike trails in the towns and cities I was visiting. It's a lot of fun, and in my limited scootering experience, it was fast. Bumps can be a little jarring; I was much more careful about avoiding them after I hit a few. Range seemed to be about 10 miles on the slower modes. The battery drained faster on the fastest mode. The display is bright and easy to read, even on a sunny day. It took me further than I would have walked. I tried taking on light rail, and it's a little heavy to carry, and awkward to hold folded up, but I got it across town on a fairly empty train. For me it slowed down to a crawl going up hills, I would hop off and just walk it up anything steep, on flat pavement it has good acceleration and gets you up to full speed quickly. I found that once I got over the fun of full speed, I didn't mind dropping into one of the lower settings and cruising along. The lights are mostly decoration. I haven't taken it out at night, but I'd want to have additional lights, especially anywhere near cars. The controls take a bit to get used to. There’s one button, and you press it multiple times for various functions. Press and hold to turn it on/off, once to turn on the headlight, twice to change modes, three times to change between MPH and Km/H and four times to turn on and off cruise control, which I haven’t tried. The throttle isn’t a smooth glide between stopped and fast. It’s more of a 3-speed control, off, pretty fast, and full speed. To go slower, you need to change modes, (press twice). It comes with an allen wrench. Inflator extension, and 2 extra inner tubes, which is nice to have on hand if/when you do get a flat. All in all, I really like this scooter, it’s a lot of fun at a reasonable price. I recommend it. ... show more
