I purchased the Winrise Drafting Chair for home office use. I researched several chairs and decided to take a chance on this one. The assembly was extremely easy and only took about 30 minutes in total. The directions were very simple to follow. I was surprised at how high the chair actually went when I tried it out for the first time. The chair back doesn't move and is on a slight leaning back angle, so it is very comfortable when you are relaxing back away from the desk. I also really love that the arm rests go up and down, that is a great feature. The foot rail is very strong and I have liked being able to rest my feet on it as well as use it as a step in order to get up into the chair if I haven't lowered it. The seat size is great! It's very wide, so I am even able to sit cross-legged in it if I want, and my knees don't even touch the arm rests. The only criticism I would say about the chair is that the chair seat is rather hard; after awhile it is uncomfortable and I need to stand or use a seat cushion. But that is a small issue when compared to all the plusses I have found with the chair. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone who asked my thoughts! ... show more

I needed a comfortable chair with arms that fold up out of the way. I use this in my studio when I am practicing guitar, but it's just a nice, comfortable chair that's held up well so far. I've had this a while now, which is why I am writing this review. It has exceeded my expectations given the price point. I was going to buy an X Chair, but decided to try this first. This chair has a better quality than I expected. The seat is wide enough to fit even wider hips, very comfortable, and definitely durable hard plastic. The chair assembly honestly is as easy as abc 123, just don't overthink it. I am 6'3 and the height adjusts high enough for me to lean back and swing my legs. Not sure I would trust the mid foot rail although. Definitely worth the price tag. ... show more

There were a few reviews that the chair was slightly difficult to install. Not at all! I was able to assemble the chair on my own without any issues. The seat is comfortable, the height adjustment works for my work station to sit lower or higher. I have an ergonomic work station, and this was the main reason to purchase this chair. The quality is very good, and I like the option to move the the armrests up and down. The chair glides easily on the hard surface.
