The DEWALT DCL044 20V MAX LED hand-held work light features a bright LED output at 160 lumens. This LED work light has a strong magnet which gives the option of hands-free use in multiple placements. It also has a kick stand, belt hook, and hanging feature- all giving you the benefit of hands-free use to focus on the task at hand. The work light head of LED rechargeable work lights rotates 360 degrees and pivots. This is a work light only - battery and charger sold separately.

This light is awesome and compact. The rotating head is very useful, and its bright. I'm a appliance repair technician, and use a backpack tool bag, the backpack has one of those clip holders on the outside of the bag, and it was the perfect spot for me to hang my light off of. It left room extra space in my bag, and it was nice to have my light so easily accessed. I've been hanging it there for the better part of a year, and no issues, but just the other day the metal clip broke off, so now I can't hang it on the clip holder anymore. I would love to see that clip be more robust. It should be thicker metal imo. The other thing is the magnet strength. The magnet should be as strong as possible. It sticks well on flat metal surfaces, but sticking it on the back of a fridge aiming down at me, sometimes it moves from the weight of the gravity. These are awesome features but if they are there, they should be STRONG!!! Beefier metal clip,and super magnets are needed to make this a 5 star! I love dewalt, I've been using their tools for over 10 years and have never had a problem with their products, until this light. Still a good light but would love to see these upgrades in the newer models if they make them ... show more

I have most all Dewalt 20v tools. In my shop, the overhead lights just do not provide enough brightness. This unit is perfect for my needs to provide targeted light when I need it The features of this light are really nice having a rotating and pivoting head, a kickstand to hold it upright and a magnet - which is strong enough, but could be stronger depending on what size (weight) battery you use. It is a smallish unit which is what I wanted and with the ability to swivel the head any direction is just what I needed. The quality is what you expect from Dewalt, heavy duty everything.
