The DEWALT DCL044 20V MAX LED hand-held work light features a bright LED output at 160 lumens. This LED work light has a strong magnet which gives the option of hands-free use in multiple placements. It also has a kick stand, belt hook, and hanging feature- all giving you the benefit of hands-free use to focus on the task at hand. The work light head of LED rechargeable work lights rotates 360 degrees and pivots. This is a work light only - battery and charger sold separately.

Good magnets and bright and portable. I would request dewalt put a strong small 6" loop draw string or maybe some more magnets as they can struggle to get good grip depending on how you try to mount it.

Love the compact size. The clip is great to hang on your shirt or pants to be hands free. Bright light for it's size and doesn't seem to drain the 2ah battery very fast 4-5 hours on high brightness.

We had a power outage last week, which is pretty unusual for us. Most of our flashlights failed, even after replacing the batteries. The light that got us through was a DeWalt DCL050 worklight - which is WAY brighter than needed, even on the low setting. (But I do like it a lot for other uses). I threw the duds away and ordered two of these. Since I have a large collection of DeWalt 20V MAX batteries, it seemed like a good choice. They work fine, stand up in various ways and have swiveling/tilting heads. So even though the whole thing is heavier than many flashlights, it's going to be more durable, and I will never have to worry about batteries (C, D) again. I wish they were just a little brighter but I'm splitting hairs - they are brighter than our 3 D cell maglites. And a hi/low setting would be nice. If you are already bought into the DeWalt battery system, I highly recommend these. ... show more

I have most all Dewalt 20v tools. In my shop, the overhead lights just do not provide enough brightness. This unit is perfect for my needs to provide targeted light when I need it The features of this light are really nice having a rotating and pivoting head, a kickstand to hold it upright and a magnet - which is strong enough, but could be stronger depending on what size (weight) battery you use. It is a smallish unit which is what I wanted and with the ability to swivel the head any direction is just what I needed. The quality is what you expect from Dewalt, heavy duty everything. Purchased this one on black Friday and so happy with the purchase. It has magnets and it hold really good. The only problem is that those magnets will not work with large battery like the one on the picture (5ah) because the battery sticks out. But no big deal. There are other mounting options that you can use and the light head can be rotated the way you want it. With 5AH battery you can have a light for two nights. ... show more
