Perfect hand held spotlight, easy to carry, extremely bright and very well made. I was surprised to see it lit up my entire backyard 150 ft from the house. Best part is the rechargeable battery is removable so if two batteries are available one can always be on the charger.

I love this light. One 2 amp hour battery lasts for a long time. This is one of the least expensive DeWalt cordless tools out there, but it's built well, shines brightly, and is rugged like everything else DeWalt makes.

I am a big fan of Dewalt products because of there small handles and front release batteries. My hands are very small and I truly appreciate their design. I recommend Dewalt products to other females every chance I get. That said, I agree with another reviewer in that it does have a cheep plastic feel. But that might be to offset the weight of the battery to make it easier to use. It has an excellent bright light and is super simplistic in design and use. High in function and no frills. I will use this light often. Now for the zinger: the instructions are a morass of putrid glop. Someone really dropped the ball. It consists of a single sheet of paper, folded like a map, that unfolds into a sheet of paper the size of a Volkswagen Bug. Gads! Hey guys, ever heard of a booklet?!? 🙄 ... show more

Great little inspection light. Very light and compact. I have more dewalt batteries than I can use and having a dedicated 2.0 battery for this tool is the only reason I got it. The light it produces isn’t too bright and does have a bit of a ‘hotspot’ but I don’t really care as this is meant as a quick inspection light and nothing more. First LED spotlight was defective and missing belt clip. The replacement LED spotlight shines bright and switch works as it should. Second unit still missing the belt clip as shown in picture and description. Keeping this unit. Still wish it had the belt clip.

Its "full" brightness setting shines from my back door to the back of my lawn some 700 feet away.
