If you’re thinking about buying, just do it. After months of owning my first and days after receiving my second, I have nothing but good news to report. Very versatile. I’ve used them to keep cool while working on an outdoor project. To dry wet carpet. For general air flow. The possibilities are endless. I haven’t used the metal hooks, but I can see the possibilities on a job site. I wasn’t expecting the mounting holes on the bottom, for semi-permanent mounting on a wall or ceiling. Might be nice for a workshop or garage where power isn’t available. Using a 5amp hour battery, it lasts about 4-5hrs on full blast. And 8hrs+ on half power. I don’t throw them around, but they seem rugged enough to do so. And light enough a small child could carry. The handle on top is super convenient. The size is perfect. Big enough to provide great airflow and small enough for great portability. It was on my wishlist for months. I wish I bought sooner. ... show more

I have two of these now. they are quiet, move a good amount of air and can run on a 5 amp battery all day on lower settings but still for hours on full blast. really impressed with this fan. Been using them for several months . they are also durable. I accidentally left on of them sitting on my truck tool box and drove off, it didnt fall off until I was on the dang freeway going 80 mph , I saw it come off and bounce off to the side of the road. came around to pick up what I figured would be my garage and it was not even messed up at all. ... show more

I needed a small jobsite fan that I could also take camping with me <just in case the bugs were bad and I needed to circulate air>. This fan is lightweight, and you can adjust the direction/intensity of airflow. I accidentally dropped it about 5 feet to the floor, but it's so durable that it didn't even break or stop running. I got this for my wife. It was her birthday this August and I was desperate for a gift. She plays a lot of pickleball and here in Mississippi it's HOT! She said she would like a portable fan and as it happens, we have a ton of DeWalt 20V batteries. It was the perfect storm! She takes it to the court and shares it with everyone. The above is a nice story but it gets better. A week ago my daughter and my two grandkids came to visit. Nice! 3 days ago the downstairs air conditioner went out. Not nice. Did I mention it's hot in Mississippi in August? This fan and been a godsent. We have several fans going but this little DeWalt gets dragged from room to room. There are minor skirmishes over who gets to use it next or which way to point it. Battery life is very good. A 5ah battery will last though the night. A 9ah 60V flex volt will last a day and night. These are mid-fan speeds. I really don't know how long the fan will run on a battery. Every 8 hours or so I put a new one in. A few down sides (there always is, isn't there?)... -- The fan slows down as the battery runs down. You probably won't notice this until you put a new battery in - at which point the fan might be running faster than you want. -- The fan is big(ish) for what it is. The actual size of the blades suggests this fan could be much more compact. -- It's not brushless. I'm sure there is a reason it's not. I just don't know what that might be. ... show more

I don't leave reviews very often, maybe 5 in my life, but this fan was worthy of my time! It's awesome! I never would've guessed that I'd use it as much as I do. On a 5amp/hr battery, it will run all day on medium and still have juice left. The high speed really moves some air too! Now it is a personal fan so as long as all your looking to do is cool your person, this is the meal ticket! ... show more
