I have purchased a couple of DEERC vehicles and will purchase from this company again and again. Their products are durable and their customer service is awesome. My first contact with customer service was regarding a problem with a charging cord and it was replaced at no charge immediately. My next contact with them was when I was looking for another RC car for my two grandsons (age 6 & 8). I was able to purchase one of the larger DEERC 1:6 trucks (it looks like a jeep)-hoping to get two of them for Christmas. When I attempted to order the second truck I was not able to get another one. I called DEERC and was told they are no longer offering the larger vehicle and that the DE60 1:8 scale truck was available. I explained that I already have two of the DE60 trucks (one was broken due to no fault of DEERC product) and that I was trying to replace them with the bigger truck. I was disappointed and thought that was the end of it. To my surprise a few days later (before Christmas) I received a package in the mail and it was a DE60 truck. Even though they could not provide me the larger vehicle they went out of their way to provide me a replacement vehicle (at no charge and I didn't even ask). The boys loved both vehicles but they continue to go back to the DE60 (smaller vehicle) as it is faster and can go over different terrain better, which is what the customer service person had told me too. Needless to say, my grandsons are very happy which made me very happy!! Sorry it has taken me so long to write this review. This RC car is awesome! It is 1:8 scale, huge, and easier to enjoy, I think. This was a gift for my 10 year-old grandson and he enjoys it in his back yard, which has only dirt. So mounds and holes are the natural turf, so he enjoys using it as if they were natural ramps, etc. The entire family can play with it, from the youngest kids (like 8 and up) to adults. My 4 year old who is into RC vehicles and wanted an “off-road” RC loved this vehicle, but it only lasted 3-4 hours of operation before the front drive motor (has one rear drive motor too) stopped working and it lost “4 whee drive”, and was incapable of driving effectively on any surface. Called DEERC customer service and they offered to send a replacement motor or 1-time vehicle replacement. We aren’t handy and the toy is clearly not designed for easy self-service repair, so we opted for the replacement and are awaiting receipt. I retract my former review. Company promptly replaced the product and shipped it to my grandson. Thank you! Within minutes of operating the antenna internally broke. Once that was repaired, something in the controller started rattling around and the controller ceased operating and the item that was causing the rattling is irreparable. ... show more

This was an impulse purchase because it actually looked huge in the picture. My first rc car was a team associated rc10 I bought and put together myself at 15 years old and that was 25 years ago . Out of the box this made me , from the cheap plastic transmitter to the cheap looking plastic truck. I tested the truck it works. But I'll probably just end up giving it away before it breaks on me in a few days. This RC model is no way for adults, but I know the kids will love it until something happens to it which I saw reviews that they honor warranty very well but I won't have time for all that because I had bought this for me like I said on impulse. If you have a child they will love it and to keep your child happy use the warranty when you will need it. Mine I already modified it so I don't have to keep taking the cover on and off to charge the batteries so I'm sure any type of warranty on that's probably has been voided. One more thing is the batteries self combusted for no reason. 1 first the the second one. They were not charging at the time either. Luckily I was home before the fire spread. For the price of this item, I had thought it would be a higher quality. My son plays with this often, but pieces easily break off. Holds a charge for a decent amount of time.

The media could not be loaded. This Monster truck was a Christmas present for our grandson. He was so surprised! This truck is an AWESOME piece of equipment! ANY boy would be ELATED to receive it. My grandson loves it’s size., jumbo tires, speed and how super easy it is to maneuver over grass, dirt, rocks, hills and anything else a boy were to encounter outside! This will NOT be the last one he will have. It has been worth every penny paid. How do you put a price in a child’s happiness! Also, the company’s Customer Service department will help you if something should ever go wrong. We had a problem with the remote control and the company replaced it with no problem!
