There are a good range of colors and is compatible with the app. However, the music sync option is completely useless. The lights jus flash at random when the music option is selected. The LEDs strip was great until they stopped working. I suspect the main control box for the light strip. Update: the company sent me a replacement unit so we were able to get the lights back up and running. Adjusted star review up to 4
