The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this car. I have over two dozen various hobby grade cars and I have been so happy and had such a good time with this amazing car. In this review I'll try to cover as many aspects as I can but I'll start by saying; this car is seriously amazing and I would say it's a must buy The overall buying and shipping experience was pleasant. The product arrived in a very quick and timely manner, brand new. The box is really something to look at, awesome attention to detail with the specs listed with no typos and really cool colored graphics. The car comes with a GENEROUS amount of extras, I was seriously blown away. The extras include a FULL swing arm set complete with the UPGRADED hinge pins (sooo important,this alone sets this car far ahead of others), it also includes extra clips, wheel mounts, wheel hexes, CVD driveshafts, and more. Never gotten so many parts with a car before, this was definitely a really big positive for me. The car itself is extremely impressive. The chassis design is top notch and it comes pre installed with several upgrades which are above this cars price grade. The tires are great, they're big and versatile, able to absolutely blast through tall grass while not being a burden on road. Usually tires this size are more for just off roading because it'll make the car flip every time you turn on asphalt, but these tires are just really well designed and can do both really easily. They get enough traction to pop wheelies all stock!!! The all metal main chassis is such a great design. The metal itself is a great toughness, ran through several packs doing hard jumps and stunts and it hasn't scratched through like I have on other metal chassis so I'm thinking it has to be upgraded as well!! I say it's a great design because the included (powerful) 550 motor works with the metal as a built in additional heatsink to further dissipate heat and let the car really achieve it's best. The included electronics honestly really impressed me. Almost every other car around this price is gonna have proprietary junk electronics that aren't worth the plastic they ship in. This car has awesome electronics. The included 3 wire servo is snappy and strong, better than any servo I've ever gotten on an RTR, came centered for perfectly straight driving lines out of the box which is incredibly rare. The 550 motor is wonderful, perfect for the size of the car, it has torque for days and even pops wheelies out of the box. The top speed is impressive, I've been racing and beating cars going 30mph down my street. Included heatsink is ANOTHER sweet upgrade, haven't ran into any overheating issues thanks to it (and it's been 100° midday when I was using it!). The esc is definitely an upgrade as well, it is remarkably responsive. The installed heatsink on the esc has no problem going full throttle with 2s batteries, I have not tried 3s yet but the fact it can do 3s is literally unheard of it's such a nice upgrade. Try to run 3s on any other car around this price and you'll end up with a small but furious bonfire. As a package, the 3 wire servo + 3s capable esc + durable and bombastic 550 motor are the dream team, best electronics I've gotten in an RTR car hands down. The chassis itself is superb. The tried and tested design of these parts shines through. The car is the perfect weight and handles corners and jumps like it's nothing. The included upgrades bring the car to another level. The machined aluminum T606 oil filled shock absorbers are the best I have ever used and I mean it. They came prefilled with oil to the perfect level (feels like about 30wt) which is exceedingly rare even in the highest end of models let alone the cheap price this guy comes in at. The shiny blue accent had me all the more impressed, the vehicle's color scheme is well thought out and great to look at standing still or ripping 30mph off a jump. Metal shock towers, metal differential gears, metal drive shafts, every part that counts is made from high grade metal and you can really tell in the performance. Croboll have really gone above and beyond to make this the best car it can be. Oh and the adjustability of the shock absorbers + swing arm carriers + steering rack is just wonderful. If you're gonna be switching up terrain you can tighten or loosen the shocks to provide proper resistance. The included settings for the arm carriers + steering rack I found to to be just right, but if you would like more toe out on the front wheels, or want some positive camber on any of the 4 tires you have the ability to adjust to your liking and it's very easy to do without an extra tool. This is a feature usually reserved for high end racing grade cars so to have that adjustability on this model made me all the happier to have bought it. The strength and durability is really off the charts. I have ran the car really hard so far and have not needed to make any repairs or adjustments yet. For example, multiple times I have botched a jump on my ramp at full speed and it has cartwheeled away with extreme force. Usually I tense up and get ready to spend the night reparing but this truggy just brushed it off like it was nothing, even asking for more! The bumper and shell design are next level. The front bumper includes 3 LED lights for night driving/for show. The combination wheelie bar + spoiler is a really smart design choice, and it's tough as nails. Have landed on both the front and the back at considerable speed and the plastic shows no signs of wear. The shell is really aesthetically pleasing and is tough enough to keep up with the rest of the car without chipping and needing replacement in the first week. As a package, the shell + bumpers + all exterior parts make this guy a formidable terminator of truggies. I think it would take a shotgun shell to do some real damage on this guy Overall I really cannot recommend this car enough. This guy handles like a high end race truggy. The smile on my face doesn't leave till the battery runs out. Whether you're an experienced veteran of the hobby like me and you appreciate the smallest details, or if this is gonna be your first car ever, in any case I would recommend this car as a must buy for any collection. I really want to thank Croboll for putting so much time and love into this truggy, it really shows in the final product and I feel very happy to have this car. Also this is a big factor here, the upgrades included alone are enough to justify a price double or more than what it's selling at. It's hard to even list all the upgrades. The value is unheard of. I really tried to talk about everything I liked about this car but there literally isn't enough room to give all of my praises! TLDR Too long didn't read; this is a must buy, this is the best car for the price hands down. I am an extremely happy customer and Croboll has really hit it out of the park. This seems to be the base model of the rlaarlo/croboll/amoril 1/14 buggy. It is based on the 144001 which is based on the LC emb-1. Nearly all parts are interchangeable, with slight variations in materials and quality. With the popularity of the other cars, parts availability is second to none. This model is priced fairly well, I paid around 100. The body shell of this car is thicker material than the others, and will hold up well in crashes and is less likely to crack. The chassis brace is of a more rigid material and actually provides a small amount of stiffening against flex. 5 wire servo is a bit of a disappointment if you plan to upgrade to brushless, but it performs its job well enough in stock form. Like all the other cars based on this design, the motor is huge and heavy, and the gearing is way too tall, providing a good high top speed (30ish mph) at the expense of much heat generation. Let it cool down a few minutes between batteries or you will melt your motor. The drivetrain is metal, as are the adjustable steering linkages. Camber and toe were a little splayed from factory, but it is easy to straighten it up. Stock tires are pretty soft with a conservative tread, likely best on pavement, carpet, or packed clay. I upgraded the tires on mine straight away to the Remo P6973, which provide excellent traction both on and off road, and have foam inserts. The shocks on this car are superb for this price bracket, oil filled aluminum with adjustable spring lands for ride height. Droop screw holes on both front and rear control arms. Radio is extremely basic but does have throttle and steering trim knobs, as well as steering dual-rate so you don't roll the car every time you turn. Range is poor, keep it within about 150 feet. This is a pretty good car, my 4th from this company, and I will continue to be a customer as long as the quality for price stays like this. ... show more

The rc car for the money is a great little rc car ! The steering is responsive the car runs around 25MPH and forb125 bucks its definitely worth it its no Traxxas by no means but there is a $350 difference in price its definitely better than i expected i bought it for my son i have some Traxxas electric and nitro cars and it is an impressive little thing for the money its mostly plastic so its not gonna take very many full speed hits but i break metal parts alot on these thing so just keep that in mind o and it did come with some extra tie rods so you will need them lol i would say if your looking to get this for your kids or if your just getting into rc cars i would get it and see how you like the hobbie and your kid is probably gonna love it 100% recommend i would invest in some better battery's though i dont really trust cheap LiPo batteries and buy a firebag for the batterys but good LiPo's can cost atleast a hundred bucks so yea this car is excellent for the price and a good charger dont over charge the battery's and dont discharge super low ... show more

What a great buy! While it isn't top of the line, it's a great introductory RC car for either first timers, younger users, or those that just want something simple, fast, and fun to play around with and not take it too seriously. Product comes already nearly set up, took only 10 minutes to take everything out, read through the manual, hook up and get going! Very simple controls with a nice easy-to-understand remote control guide. Had no issues at all and only had to use tweezers as a supplemental tool to place some screws on the tail. RC car itself drives SUPER fast - I took it outside and it whipped around the sidewalks and the grass with no issues. It climbs over terrain pretty darn well and didn't seem to get held up on anything. Seems durable at face value - bumped a brick corner pretty hard and didn't seem to faze the car at all. Any RC enthusiast would know that replacement parts are absolutely necessary due to crashes, and this set comes with replacement axles and wheel parts. Overall well worth the money! ... show more
