I have 600' of decking that I have to change over to cable (6000'). Needless to say, that's a lot! I am running a test to see is this will rust or corrode by placing a 6" piece in SALT water in a cup. So far so good after a 3 weeks submerged in it. No sign of rust. It would have shown signs by now if it wasn't stainless. I believe this is the real deal and you can buy without worry. I hope this helps, as I have seen other reviews with nightmare stories after installing with other cable. ... show more
