  • Drainage DesignOur railing connectors are water damage resistant and We added a drainage design at the bottom of the connector to avoid excessive soaking of the railing to the wooden railing. It also offers a long service life and low maintenance.
  • Durable Construction Each connector has 4 holes on the side for installing the railing/handrail. 3 holes at the back of each connector to secure the railing / handrail. 7 screws provide a very strong connection to the wood.

I will have to say I was a little skeptical about these being plastic. Not only do they send you everything you need to mount these but the way that they hold there’s no way that your deck is ever going to come apart. It makes it super simple to just slide the board into the groove and boom you’re done. These are excellent quality very hard plastic and I had not one problem with any of them as I mounted them. These are definitely worth buying if you’re trying to redo your deck or if you’re building a deck. ... show more

I suggest getting good exterior screws, not using the ones in the box as there is no info provided about them. I also don't think three screws into the end of the rail is necessary (assuming you are using good quality stainless steel screws, and that you've measured and cut correctly.

I used these deck railing connectors on my pergola to create a space to hang planter boxes. These connectors create a nice contrast from the cedar posts and lumber. I did use longer more durable screws though as my planter boxes are quite heavy. If your looking for well priced railing connectors then these are perfect. They look better than galvanized connectors or toe nailing, and save time over pocket screw system. ... show more
