Does what is is supposed to. There’s no bottom, so I secured the structure down with some packaging tape - I’m sure adding a Velcro bottom would be easy. Anyways, keeps like 90% of fumes out!

I wasn't sure what to think when I unpacked this unit. It looked kind of small so I wasn't expecting much. It turns out that it does a great job and is not wildly noisy either. The compact package is nice since my workbench doesn't have a whole lot of extra space. This one was a win.

The seller was amazing in getting me a replacement so I could use the enclosure. After looking through forums and facebook groups, Creality hasn't quite nailed down making sure everything in the box is correct on their enclosures. The enclosure itself is not bad at all. It won't compare to a custom build or pricier enclosure but it does the job advertised. You will need to do some extra work to seal the enclosure around your bench/stand so smoke does not escape from the bottom. It was easy to assemble once I had all of the correct parts. The zipper is well sealed and there's plenty of space. The front, top bar gets in the way when trying to work inside of the enclosure and I'm hoping to figure out a way to remedy the issue so I don't have to work around it. ... show more

After the tight assembly the cover seams to be a little on the flimsy side the zipper part falls down inside and will sometimes move your work around, the big con is the fan it’s way under powered and I guess I missed it but it’s a small 3” that may be why it doesn’t draw smoke out to fast, this thing is huge had to rework my 24” bench to fit this 30” enclosure just not to impressed with this for the price may be returning. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I started my assembly adventure with all the enthusiasm of a kid on Christmas morning, believing I'd have my laser enclosure ready in a jiffy. Oh boy, was I wrong! It took me a whopping hour of fumbling and fidgeting, with a few choice words thrown in for good measure. At one point, in a fit of exasperation, I channeled my inner drama queen, dramatically threw the parts on the floor, and declared, "I give up!" But, as any DIY enthusiast knows, that's just a temporary setback. Summoning my inner handyman, I picked up the pieces and embarked on the second act of my construction saga. With renewed determination, I carefully rebuilt the enclosure, vowing not to let a few stubborn parts defeat me. It turns out that the third time's the charm, and with a little ingenuity and a lot of patience, I finally had my Creality Laser Enclosure standing tall and proud. Now, what makes this enclosure a true gem is its trusty sidekicks – the included computer fan and exhaust hose. These trusty allies not only kept the laser enclosure cool and collected but also ensured the noxious fumes and smoke didn't turn my workshop into a scene from a sci-fi thriller. This enclosure is a bit bigger than our engraver. It's sort of good, where I have space to move around it. I had the measurements when we ordered it, but on my workbench it seems much bigger. It's deep enough where I can't fully unzip the opening without really stretching. That's ok though, it folds gracefully wherever you stop unzipping it. It is lined with fire resistant material, so if one of my engravings catches fire, it should deal with it long enough for me to shut it down and put it out. The outside of it feels like a fairly thick nylon canvas material. It has an unexpectedly strong metal frame. Better than most camping tent frames. Not as strong as shelving. I really like the size of the opening. The first time I set it up, I placed the machine in through the zippered opening, rather than putting the enclosure down over the machine. It has grommet holes for your wires, and the option to put the exhaust on either side towards the back. Both the top and front sides of the zippered panel have laser resistant tint, so it's safe to watch the machine run. In between the last run of the machine, and me writing this review, one of our cats decided to test the strength of it. It can hold its shape with a cat on top, as long as the opening is zippered shut. The instructions are extremely brief, bordering on non-existant. Basically, they give you 16 tubes in packs 1 and 2. Snap them together in pairs. It doesn't matter which pack, ours weren't loaded evenly, so some were from 1 and 2. Others were both from 1 or 2. Pack 3 are the vertical posts. Put together 4 of the 1&2 to make a square. Put the corner connectors on, leaving an empty spot pointing up. Put in your 4 vertical posts, with a connector on top of each. Then build the top square. Push it all together, they need to be tight to fit the cover on. The top was a really tight fit. I didn't quite have it straight at first, so it wouldn't pull all the way down. Give it a little tug to get the corners in the right spot, and it'll slide the whole way down. Use the hook and loop tabs to hold it securely on the bottom, and you're done. ... show more
