Edit: I saw a review below saying "it doesn't go 31mph" and it doesn't go that fast out of the box. It's a compliance thing to ship scooters that only go 15/16mph out of the box as some states treat them differently if they go faster. To unlock the full speed go to YouTube and type in "inokim Ox speed unlock" and several videos pop up with instructions. Now back to my review :) My wife and I used to live in Manila (Philippines) and we owned a scooter manufacturing company there (EcoRide)... when covid hit, we came back to the US to ride it out. Well, it never ended and we're still here... one thing we always missed was using our scooters. We designed, built, imported and wholesaled scooters all over the country there... I tell you this because we know a LOT about electric scooters and this is the ONLY scooter in the US we will buy. We've known the Inokim brand for years. It was the first scooter I owned before making our own. It was solid, well built, good electronics and, most importantly, a battery that actually delivered what they said it would (the easiest place to lie to you on a scooter is the battery and it being nearly 50% the manufacturing cost of a scooter, it's a good place to 'make up some money'). This scooter here will take me up the hill by my house at 15mph. It's around a 15 degree incline, probably 150yds long and I weigh around 230lbs. It has enough power that I rarely move it out of the middle speed setting. I use it to go to the grocery store (best accessory: a good, solid, milspec backpack), check on our rentals, all sorts of stuff. I can not recommend this brand any more highly. It is 100% worth every penny. Only issue I have with this model is the weight... my wife has one too. She's a small girl at 5'1" and she has some issues man-handling the unit around when she's going slow. I wanted to get her a smaller scooter but, well, we all know how that went. If you're smaller I would look at the quick 4 model. Quick side note: even if you weight what I do and have the hills we do, I fully expect 20ish miles on a full charge. That means I'm paying around one penny per mile for travel. Yeah, this is gonna pay for itself in less than a year. ... show more

Every time I change the tire out on this scooter it gets a flat within 24hrs. Getting so tired of ordering new tubes for this thing I think I would rather dump it in the harbour. DONT BUY

I bought this scooter as an alternative to fight traffic when commuting for work. I did quite a bit of research for about 6 months and looking at product reviews on YouTube. I had been following Paul on the (ESG) channel, he does quite a good job in testing scooter products, anyway, his review of the Inokim sold me and I ended up making the purchase. As soon as I pulled it out of the box, I could tell it was a quality product, the only thing that I had to do to the unit was to attach the handlebar and follow the charging instructions (BTW, it comes with a tool for you to be able to do that). As ESG Paul and the Inokim manual recommended I took it to an empty parking lot to learn how to properly use it. It has been a while since I got on my longboard, but I found that slow and easy is the key. Trial and error, making figure 8's, starting and stopping, etc. First you push yourself onto the board than you accelerate, that is the key to taking off. If not, the scooter will not wait for you!! Anyway, is a blast and I am looking forward to avoiding traffic. The one thing, you may have notice is that I installed an aftermarket bell, well the bell that comes with the unit is next to it, but it blends so well with the handlebar that I did not see it!!! I bought this scooter and right out of the box it was acting up the top speed is 27 this scooter would top out at 22 and sometimes 23 going down hill, another thing is the throttle would always get stuck this was super bad because I would let go and it would still keep the scooter on the scooter crashed multiple times because of this ... show more

Absolutely love this scooter, it is so smooth, comfortable to ride and beautiful to look at. Very well made, I have a couple of Inokim Light 2s and this company is all about quality. The Light 2 was a little small for me, I'm 6'1", 200 lbs and it wasn't really getting me up small hills. The OX is great and have cruised up some pretty steep hills with no issue. I wish they used rubber on the deck but hasn't been an issue yet. I researched every scooter out there and watched a million videos, this seller had a awesome price so I jumped on it and have 0 regrets. ... show more

Did my homework waited for the sale purchase the product had it delivered things were going smooth. Open the box not missing the bolt for the rear fender and Random parts seem loose. I tuned it up and followed the manual and took it on my first ride, where I heard a grinding noise And realize something was wrong with Rear End. I called Amazon and emailed them also contacted Inokim and neither one of them wanted to help me. Wake up today and the tire is completely worn down as well as the rear brakes, almost as if it was bent hence, the grinding noise on my first ride. I contacted them saying that I wanted to return it and purchase the Inokim OXO instead in the same color orange. Wanted to make sure I still got the black Friday/cyber Monday pricing which was $1499 minus 10%. I paid using quite a few gift cards and Amazon for the third time now has told me I have to wait 48 hours because of unusual activity on my account. Now the upgraded scooter that I was willing to pay the difference in price on, has gone up in price and is sold out in the color I want. The order itself doesn’t even show up for me to initiate a straight up. Return. at this point, I feel as though should I get an upgraded Scooter but compensation for missing work and being late to events. This is my transportation, Currently, without any vehicle . Before this I had a Segway that lasted about 1000 miles. Inokim has not been helpful either. At this point. I am looking into other brands but I need to stick with Amazon sadly because of the gift cards I used anyone has a suggestion let me know. Also, can someone from Amazon please contact me and resolve this issue it is embarrassing.. ... show more
