As you can see, it is right under my work desk. It is really nice for my feet, and helps to keep pressure off of my legs. It is built nicely, and seems sturdy enough for what it is. I have chronic ankle pain and I've always had difficulty with how to comfortably position my legs under a desk. The cushion's incredibly comfortable on my feet and helps me balance my ankle in a way that it minimizes pain. I'm not sure how I ever got by without something like this. I had to jump on here and write a review because I can’t believe the difference this is has already made for me. I took a chance and purchased this foot rest during Prime Days. It was delivered the next day, which is already amazing to report. Anyway, I have never used one of these things before so I have nothing to compare this to. But, I am newly working from home and knew I needed to upgrade my whole desk situation fast as my current ergonomics are pretty bad. I took this foot rest out of the box and laid it on the floor with the plastic still on since I had no idea if I was going to keep it. However! WOW. This foot rest literally elevated my body and posture immediately. I could tell the fatigue in my feet disappeared only a few minutes into using it. I’m actually writing this review while still sitting in the same position! Anyway, something worth mentioning: I purchased a new seat cushion on Prime Days as well since my desk chair has seen better days. I kept hoping the cushion would feel comfy under my bum and thighs but it kept hitting me weirdly. So I began the process to return the cushion but realized that I had not tried the cushion out with the foot rest! So, I plopped the foot rest down on the floor and plopped the seat cushion in my chair. I sat down and BINGO! The foot rest immediately lifted my lower body to an appropriate position and height, and that new seat cushion feels amazing. It’s a perfect fit. I am ecstatic… it’s the little things, you know? I’m now keeping the seat cushion AND this foot rest. So before you return or throw out your cushions, consider elevating your body first with a foot rest! Also, another side note: it’s worth mentioning that of course this foot rest will vary per person, that's understandable. For reference, I am 5’4, weigh around 160 and have all of my lower body weight on this thing. It is solid. It is not sliding around. Also, my feet have good spacing between them and around them too as they rest on the foot rest. It is durable and high quality from what I can tell… and I am realizing that 20 minutes into this writing, the swelling in my legs is down! So please do yourself a favor: don’t overlook your lower back and feet when you’re setting up your desk at home. You really should consider purchasing something like this if you plan on sitting for hours. I’m going to buy one for my dear friend who just found out that she and her hubby are expecting their first child! I just know she’s going to appreciate feeling the immediate relief in her feet like I did. I hope this was helpful. ... show more

I'm considered a short dude by society's standards. I am slightly below average height for a U.S. male. Unfortunately, that means most office or gaming chairs when raised allow for my feet to hang like a little child.:( Fortunately, ComfiLife cares about such terrible tragedies. They created this under-desk footrest for us shorter folk. Of course, taller folk can use this footrest too but let's be honest here, these are meant to give us short people good posture when sitting down on a taller chair. This footrest can be used as a footrest or footrocker by turning it 180 degrees. Comfort is amazing, it feels like I'm resting my feet on clouds. The covers are also washable so your stanky feet smell doesn't remain on the fabric. ComfiLife seriously thought about everything! 10/10 recommend. ... show more
