I purchased this for my youngest daughter (8), her older sisters (12 & 11) have had hoverboards for two years and now she was old enough to get one. She wanted a Gold one with BlueTooth and this was the only option I could find. Opened up on Xmas and after a brief run around the house, blaring music, we immediately began charging per the Owners Manual. I have split custody, so she left for her mother's house for the next few days. Upon return, and the first venture outside, this board lasted a whopping 15-20 minutes - she was now on her scooter and her sisters older boards were still going strong. When plugging in the charger, I noticed the light on the charger would change color (it know it was plugged in), but the board did not beep or light up anywhere. I checked the specifications of the charger and compared that to the chargers for the other boards. I tried them as well, but no indication from the board that there was a connection. I figured I would attempt to charge the board again with its charger and the light on the charger did change from green (unconnected) to red connected) and eventually gree (when connected), indicating fully charged. Next go on the board, it lasted less than 5 minutes....either the battery is garbage or the charging system is defunct. Either way, I am forced to return and purchase another unit. I've read other reviews with similar accounts and would not recommend buying this thing even at the very attractive price they are offering!! ... show more

Battery life could be better. My 5yr old rolls around the house blasting music so, combined with the lights, only gives him a little over an hour of riding. I am not complaining though. I can only hear Ol Town Road so many times before I'm ready to throw the kid and hoverboard out the door. Speakers work surprisingly well. I've had to listen to this thing everyday for hours since it was opened on Christmas and it's still going strong. ... show more

Hoverboard looks to be used/refurbished, horrible burnt plastic smell, human hair wrapped around one of the wheels, 1 of the pads is worn/scuffed up compared to the other side. Will NOT hold a charge longer than 10 minutes even after following User’s Manual directions. Returning to distributor, hoping it will be replaced with NEW & WORKING hoverboard. ... show more

We let our grandson pick his birthday gift. He chose a gold hoverboard. What we received is an orange chrome hoverboard. I am not talking about a slight variation in color I am talking about chrome pumpkin orange. Orange is not even listed as a color option to choose from. To many reading this it may seem very trivial but to a 6 year old autistic child that only likes red and gold colored things I can assure you a small detail is a very big deal. I received the hoverboard today it is Thursday 9/9 the party is Saturday 9/11 on his birthday. I do not have time to return for a refund to purchace a new one or exchange for the right color before his party. UPDATE Cho has reached out and offered to replace the hoverboard which is a very nice and kind thing to do even after my 1 star review. Once the new hoverboard is received I will update my review to a better review because they are taking care of the mistake. ... show more
