I got the 6 steak knives and I love them. They cut my steaks perfectly. The handles are definitely a lightweight plastic, so I do not know how they would hold up against tougher meat (my steaks are medium rare) but but it feels sturdy and so far I have had no issues. The design is lovely and so far I've had no issue with it chipping or anything. I DO put them in the dishwasher so they probably won't last as long as they otherwise would, but at the price they're at, I do not feel it is too terrible of a thing for myself. ... show more

Really like the modern design, color of handle and the quality of the blades (for the price), however, one of the rivets in the "Chef Knife" handle was loose and ill fitting. Not a big deal but enough not to give it 5 stars.

The block arrived broken. After taking it apart it was apparent they didn't line the holes for the screws up properly and one hole is lying inside of a knife slot. To avoid the hassel of repackaging and sending it all back I just fixed it the right way.
