I had previously used the purple and the red and now trying the aqua. I’ve been very happy with all of them. I have gray hair and apply it only to the top, leaving it in for about 5 minutes. I get good color uptake and I like that the result isn’t a flat, uniform color. My daughter tried the purple on her dark blonde hair and didn’t see much results, but does see results with the red. I have been using this stuff for about 2 months! I have bought a back up bottle but haven’t used the second one yet. It does dry your hair out like crazy, so make sure to keep up with your masks and holding conditioner in your hair for longer. It says that it doesn’t matter if you use cold or warm water but i feel like it helps not tangling your hair so much if you use cold-lukewarm water. I use Overtone pastel blue conditioner after Viral shampoo have a more bolder turquoise blue than green turquoise color. That stuff smells great and conditions very well so your hair isn’t tangled. I probably wash my hair once ever 4 days, i will switch to regular shampoo to Viral every other hair wash. It does tend to fade the color just a notch when I use regular shampoo. Big thing- you have to have very blonde hair!! I have natural dirty blonde hair, I use this on my hair but it only works only on my heavily highlighted hair. It didn’t pick up as much with my honey blonde hair. I went to my stylist to do my roots and tone my blonde. My color now picks up the Viral turquoise so much better! ... show more

I would use this as shampoo to keep this same color vibrant. Don’t try and use on light/blonde hair. It will make your hair look really bad when it fades

my stylist recommended this to me when she dyed my hair to use once it started fading and looking yellow and it works great for that, so far it's kept the same color for a couple months now, which is a lot longer than I usually get out of semi-permanent dye

It doesn’t cover your hair deep enough. I did two coats two delegate times and unless you bleach your hair the color covers only Some parts . I used. Comb and my fingers to brush it through as well and still didn’t cover
