We finally made the decision to buy a nice pair of knives. After months of researching what knives we should buy and include in a set, we found this meets all of our needs. I am not a chef so I didn't realize how a good set of knives could make that big of a difference. I wish I would have been aware of how much it improves the cooking experience. The knife block is also a nice touch. I hate leaving things on the counter so being able to fit this in our drawer is fantastic. I am so happy with this knife set! They are absolutely so sharp so be extremely careful and respect these knifes. They handle so well and do not feel heavy at all. The paring knife is my absolute favorite; no more mushy tomatoes when cutting. It slices right through anything. I love the knife block, it fits perfectly in my narrow drawer right next to the stove and sink were I cook etc. I don’t have much counter space so I needed some way to put it away. I also purchased the beautiful carving set that comes with a nice case, as we are always the one who brings a turkey for Christmas. I will write a review on that as well. ... show more

I’ve been searching for a great knife set for a long time. Reading reviews and trying to decide what the best fit for my kitchen would be. I cook from scratch a LOT and I LOVE my new knives! They feel great, very well balanced and are incredibly sharp. I didn’t realize just how dull my old knives had become until I cut with these for the first time. This is my first real knife set- I couldn't spend a fortune but I wanted to finally have ergonomic, well balanced, and well constructed knives. These looked like the best option for the price and I am not disappointed. I purchased this knife set based on the description and reviews, and I have not been disappointed. They have a nice, balanced weight and are comfortable to hold. They are very sharp, and the white handles are unusual and very attractive. I also like the low profile bamboo knife holder.
