The media could not be loaded. Nice fireplace with a few shortcomings, while effort was made to make the flames look realistic the fact rhat they almost totally disappear for a moment takes away from that. This is my biggest complaint. It drives me crazy. There is a low annoying noise that repeats itself every 4-6 seconds...I dont recall hearing this noise after initial install. Will reach out to Amazon/manufacturer to see if they can rectify this issue. Remote did come with the unit. It works fine. I am updating my review from a one star to a four star because the company did get back to me once they saw my one star review and immediately issued me a FULL REFUND. They actually do have GREAT customer support although there is no way for you to contact them directly. They have to contact you first, which means leaving a bad review and then going in and editing it when they make it right. Although I was not completely satisfied with the flame of the fireplace, and the fact that it hummed from almost day one, I have upped my review to three stars because they were so kind and persistent on getting a hold of me since I do not always check my Amazon account messages. They did say the humming was probably from a broken piece inside the fireplace and they did offer to send me a new one. I took the full refund though since I didn’t like the way the flame looked in the first place. All in all- I would actually buy from this company again bc they were SO HELPFUL after all! **ORIGINAL REVIEW-(There are no flames to be seen unless the room is completely dark. It started humming/growling after only using it for a few hours. The humming continued until it just Completely stopped altogether. I only used the actual heating fan once, I had the lights on only and it made that humming sound. This was in my studio for work so it was only used a few hours a day 2-3 days a week. And now the “window of returns and customer Support has closed”… this was Purchased in January 2022 and installed middle of February 2022 and now has stopped working completely in the middle of October 2022. I will never buy from this company again and try to find somewhere other than Amazon to buy an electric fireplace.) ... show more

(see below for the update) A real review for those who are worried about fakes: Packaging was acceptable, mine arrived with no damage The fire without adding the rocks (rocks are included) actually looks really good . Has 3 speeds for the fire and a bunch of different color settings. It looks amazing. HOWEVER -- heating wise: it's just okay. I have a 194sqft room and I tested it yesterday, let it run for 2 hours in 41° rainy weather with 3 drafty windows (as a stress test) and it knocks the chill off the room completely but it doesn't make the room hot. Thats a good thing, because if I seal off the windows then it should be warmer. Now in 30° weather this will likely be more of an issue but I'll update if that ever happens. The reason why I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 is because for the price this should be a double blower, not 1 center blower. It wouldve made all the difference. There's a hum when you turn on the fire but it's not loud at all so idk what other people are talkin about in their reviews. It's quiet and looks nice even if you mount it on the wall instead of putting it inside your wall. 👍 --UPDATE-- So I've had a few 40-30°F days and I'm convinced this isn't a 1500W as advertised. I have a basic target brand space heater that is actually 1500w that more than just knocks the chill off my room at those temperatures and this fireplace doesn't do that. While it's easy to mount, and looks very nice, it doesn't get AS hot whatsoever . It's disappointing because of the price and as I stated before it for the price should be a double fan heater. This heater feels more like a 500-700w which for my size of room doesn't do much. If your room is tiny, tiny, tiny, then this can work for you. But at almost 200sqft it's not doing it for me. ... show more

Very much like the finished product. The biggest drawback is that the remote that was sent didi not work. The battery compartment would not hold nor seemed to be designed to hold the included battery. On a positive note, the seller was very responsive to the problem and shipped another remote out asap. I have not been able to test the new remote as we have construction happening in the room it’s in, but it looks like a better remote than what was sent with the original fireplace. ... show more
