I love this fireplace! The heat works but we don’t use it. I just like the look of the fire. It makes everything feel so cozy. It’s the focal point of our living room and we get compliments on it from all of our guests. I put this together by myself (because I’m too impatient to wait on my husband) in about an hour. We’ve had it three years now and it still works beautifully. Compared to the price of some others, I think this was a steal. I waited for it to go on sale and spent about $700. Fireplace insert and mantel showed up in two boxes as expected. All parts were included with some extra fasteners for those that are easily broken. Assembly was straight forward due to the well thought out design. Only tool used was a #2 Phillips screw driver. Warning, do not attempt to use a power screw drivers because it would be easy to cross thread the connector posts or pull out the threaded inserts. Fireplace insert has many settings including temperature, off timer, background lighting and flame brightness. The fireplace insert fan does make noise, but it is typical of an electric fireplace. Easy to assemble. Parts fit together nicely. Read a review about the dowls not fitting and re-drilling all of the holes. We did not encounter this problem. A couple of dowls were a little loose so we brushed wood glue on them. The stone is not bright white but has a slight beige/light pink undertone that we can certainly live with. All flame settings on fireplace work as advertised. Does provide enough heat. Would recommend this product. It adds a nice feature to our living room. ... show more

This fireplace is GORGEOUS! I arrived packaged well, was easy to assemble and looks way more expensive than it is. The stone element is very nice! The fireplace insert component illuminates a very realistic looking fire. The ONLY thing this unit lacks is legit heat output. I knew purchasing it that it was only for a 400sq ft space, but the size and looks of this fireplace, this should really be paired with a unit that can heat up to 1000sq ft. It does take the chill out of the air, but only just enough and doesn’t get my space as warm and toasty as I would like. I was nervous to spend this much on an electric fireplace as I always hate faux fireplaces but this one looked worth a shot. It turned out perfect! It’s the most realistic one we’ve seen yet. We are planning to buy another one for our bedroom if it goes on sale again. It’s realistic, made well, and puts out great heat. This arrived in two separate boxes in two separate shipments. Was also delivered earlier than expected. The mantle/frame box was very heavy! The top mantle and bottom hearth piece are each one solid piece. Took me a half an hour to put together by myself including unboxing. The hardest part was lifting the mantle on top just because it's a little heavy for me. I placed the wood dowels on the frame first (then the screws in the actual mantle) so I could have something to balance it on when I was trying to get everything to align. Two people would have been easier I was too impatient to wait for my husband to get home. I used a small electric screwdriver to put the whole thing together. Before purchasing I had asked the actual height because the product description and the picture description have two different heights. It sits 351/4" off the floor Not 32" like the picture shows. Puts out a lot of heat! So happy I went with this one! Amazon had the best price of anywhere. ... show more
