I love this little unit. I have a very deep built in that was begging for a decorative fireplace and this fits perfectly. Unit was shipped quickly and packaged securely. It was easy to assemble - the trick being not to tighten down all the bolts until the entire unit was assembled. This allows for some play to align the holes in each area. Received incomplete package, no heater insert, maybe will arrive later, but there is no info about it. The worst thing is that was unable to put it together due to missing metal hole insert. Without this part it is impossible to connect parts. Also one part has large defect on the front. Very disappointing. Now I have to put all parts to box and return it. It’ s heavy and seriously I don’t know how I will do that. It was my early Christmas gift which I waiting whole year.* UPDATE * Contacted seller and they offered me to buy parts on their cost or send me missing one. I decided to wait for parts. All process took extra week. I finally put fireplace together and looks good. Was easy assembly. Heater came separate few days after framing and works good. If on the beginning I received completed item definitely I will rate it higher. But because this inconvenient I rate item 3*. ... show more

Very nice unit and great looking piece of furniture. Came in two boxes and easy to, assemble. However it was missing one of the six anchor nuts in the top panel.and no screws to attach the heater to the inside of the cabinet. No biggee....had screws in my shop and 5 screws will hold the top on.

The boards did not have pre-drilled holes. The replacement board smelled like paint for days. It was not clear in the advertising it needed this level of assembly. If you want something attractive buy something else. The heat is strong and works consistently.
