The media could not be loaded. First off - because this was my biggest concern based on other reviews; the color is not snow white, but it is still in the white range. Some reviews say it is yellow and it is definitely not yellow. But what people mean is that it is ivory. I have true white walls and beige blinds. You can see from the photo that the mantel is not as white as my walls, but not far off. Because I have some beiges in my room, the color works fine. It is whiter than the color of primed doors at Lowes (unpainted off-white primer). This was EASY to assemble. It arrives in two large packages. The electric fireplace itself was not hard to carry inside. It is the wood mantel package that is hard to carry because it is long enough to be akward to carry by yourself. I was able to drag it into my front door and then have someone assist me carrying it to the room it goes in (not heavy for two people to carry). There is slight gapping in the panels once assembled. But you don't really see it from the front or even the side. You'd have to be directly on the side of it or behind it to see the gaps. Concern #2 based on other reviews was the pre-drilled holes. Everything lined up great on mine. I just hand-tightened everything first (in each step of assembly) before tightening with the wrench. That way it was easy to slide the pieces slightly if needed. There is an overall power button then a separate power button for the heater and one for the flames. Once you turn on the main power button, the enclosed remote will be useable. You can also control everything from the fireplace itself. It is QUIET with no heat and there is a slight airy sound with the heat on. Just like any average HVAC heat vent sound. There is no "crackling" sound. Some people on here have purchased separate sound machines for this. I'm thinking of just putting a bluetooth speaker on top of my fireplace and using the youtube yule log video for a crackling sound (via the bluetooth speaker) if I really want it. Then I don't need to purchase another device and can control everything from my phone. Overall - great packaging, nothing damaged, took me 1.5 hour to assemble working slow paced, looks great, puts out heat immediately, doesn't clash with super white walls. My hub put this together and he didn't have any trouble assembling it (he's good at that stuff, might have been a different story if I'd done it). The flame is about as realistic as you can get with an electric fireplace (compared to some I've seen that have a neon magenta hue, for example). It has a blower and gives off good heat, heating our spacious bedroom nicely in the morning before I turn on the furnace. The mantel structure is nice-looking. People have asked us if it came with our house. I got the black one to go with our bedroom furniture. It's a nice cozy addition to the room and our morning coffee. If I had any complaints about it, they'd be that the blower is a bit loud, but not to the point where I'd dock them a star. It's a good product so far. ... show more

Love the fireplace, the heat works but we haven’t used it for long since we live in Florida. The fireplace color was a little disappointing because it’s like off-white almost beige and just not the cutest. But I still love it. SUPER EASY to build seems sturdy, the package is heavy though .

UPDATE - We did hear back from the seller and this item ships out in two separate packages. The wooden frame arrived the following day. Assembly was easy and it looks beautiful! Would be less confusing if when ordering, it is specified that the item ships in two separate packages. Other than that, we are very pleased with our fireplace. ORIGINAL - We ordered the 44” White fireplace and only received the fireplace component, no mantle, or framing parts. We are attempting to contact the seller and report this issue, but there is no way to talk to an actual human, so I will update in a day or so after receiving a response. ... show more

(I dressed mine up with some wooden decals I painted gold) First off I love the option to have the fire light on without the heat. I’ve normally got the fire going 24/7 for the ambient light. I like that I can also choose how bright the light is. Exactly what I was looking for. Secondly the heat output is actually really great. I’ve tested it multiple times and it heats up the room really nicely pretty quickly. The mantle and areas surrounding the “fire” stay cool to the touch too (I have two dogs and I always worry). As the weather begins to change I’ll definitely be using this as a space heater while I read. Third, the remote functions great.
