I love the ambiance this provides. I live in a warm climate, so I was seeking it for looks not heat (although the heat did great during some cold spells). I don't really use ALL the color options because I prefer the realistic fire option, but they all work great for whatever look you are seeking. Easy to unpack, install/mount, and use in under an hour! I added some tiny twigs to the crystal beads for a bit of 'wood' accent, and I just love it. I use it every night and it enhances my evening relaxation. I originally bought the 36" and decided to put that one in another room and ordered this larger one for the main living area.     • Great flat screen fireplace

This is now the centerpiece of our basement remodel and our only source of heat. Very happy with look and quality. A contractor installed in the wall for us. He had to frame out a box to set it into. To be expected, we planned on this. Electrician recommended installing its own line with a breaker because using the heat does pull a lot of voltage. Blower for heat is very quiet. We have about 1000 Sq. Ft area to heat and if I put it on about an hour before going downstairs it is cozy even in 20 degree outside weather. Sure beats the $7k we were quoted for a ductless mini-split! At this rate I could run the fireplace all winter for 5+ yrs before my electric bill would even approach that price. Flame adjustment and choices are excellent. A lot of features for the price and we have been using it nonstop for 3 months with no issues. Very soothing flame effect and remote works fine, as long as you are within 5ft of the unit. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. If you're expecting this to look like real fire, keep looking. But I absolutely love it! There are so many color combinations and you can change the speed of the flame too. My handyman said it was easy to install. Have had a couple of months now with no issues at all.
