When i ordered it I will admit I was concerned that the tape might leave residue on the clipboard. It does a little, however I take it to the sink, add a few drops of Dawn and it's good as new. What you'll need to know about me: I am obsessed with clipboards, I use them for projects at home and also to organize my papers for my multiple jobs. I live in the country and often need to take notes in the field on various projects so they come in super handy for that too. But I digress--these particular clipboards fill my heart with joy because the color is my fave (mint green, which I call sea foam green) and they are so lightweight, and hello, they have a pen holder! In the product photos they looked as if they were two-tone but the ones I got were not which is a plus because that was my only reservation. I love this clipboard, holds everything very well, I like the color, it's sturdy enough, not flimsy... Everything a clipboard needs to be it is and then their is the pen holder. It's fantastic, will hold whatever kind of pen you have, it's like a little metal scrunchie, will hold anything from big markers to slim pencils and it's awesome. It's gotten a lot of use from a think pen with a grippy and I was half expecting it to get hung up and break but it has held up to my rough handling. Will definitely buy again. ... show more

Not gonna lie, I really hardly leave reviews. This is the best clipboard I’ve ever used. I bought 2 other clipboards from different companies at the same time I bought this, because I was worried about quality and wanted to compare. I use clipboards at work where I test water all day. Needless to say, almost every surface is wet all of the time. Because of this, cork clipboards and paper clipboards literally just fall apart after a few weeks, so plastic is basically a must. I have to write things standing without a table a lot though and plastic clipboards have a tendency to be way too flimsy. I’m convinced this plastic clipboard is the most sturdy plastic clipboard in existence. Not only is it drastically better than the other 2 brands I bought, it is also more heavy duty than any other clipboard we previously had, and more than any other clipboard I’ve ever used, including metal clipboards. This clipboard is so reliable, I would trust it to drive my car. And I didn’t even get to the pen holder, because I’m not really a pen holder person. That pen holder is unbelievably strong. In the picture, it looks like just a normal flimsy spring that’s going to do what they all do and wear out over time and not hold onto anything- no. That spring is double enforced. It will hold onto your pen for dear life (but you can still put it in and pull it out easily). I dropped the clipboard and banged it on a few things with the pen inside, it didn’t even budge. Despite all of this, it is just as lightweight as any other clipboard. If I could rate it ten stars, I’d still want to rate it more. I will absolutely be buying this again once my flimsy ones inevitably break. ... show more
