I can’t say enough good things about this product. I used the haakaa for a long time and found it painful, clunky and indiscreet. These things have replaced my haakaa and made collection so much easier. They are painless, wearable, and in my experience LEAK PROOF! I literally put these on and go lay down. I find that they pull way more milk than the Haakaa too! I usually get about 2 oz from each side and my lactation consultant has given me the go ahead to replace pumping with using these which makes me endlessly happy. I have a couple Haakaas that I tried using my first few weeks breastfeeding, but my baby sometimes kicked them off and it was stressful worrying about spilling milk everywhere. I also had a hard time getting them to suction on securely without the suction becoming painful. I stopped using them, but then I was soaking through a breast pad with every feeding and wasting a ton of milk. I read reviews for a lot of products similar to this one, but the Boom seemed to have the best design and the best reviews so I decided to give them a shot. Funny enough, my lactation consultant recommended them to me out of the blue the day after I ordered them. These have completely changed my breastfeeding experience! I haven’t needed to use my electric pump a single time since I started using the Boons. If I use them every time I nurse on the opposite breast, I collect about two whole bottles of extra milk in 24 hours. This is more than enough to let my husband take a couple feedings with the bottle and to create a freezer stash. Now my biggest problem is figuring out what to do with all the extra milk! Another great use is preventing engorgement. If my baby isn’t hungry and my breasts are full, I can put these on and get a couple ounces on each side, just enough to relieve the pressure without draining my breasts completely. That way I still have plenty of milk whenever baby is ready to nurse. They stay on in my nursing bras really well. I need to increase the suction periodically as they fill with milk, but it's so easy to do just by pushing on the front through my bra. I love the Boone trove. I can’t stress it enough! 2 months into my second nursing journey and I wish I had it for my first!! two haakas and a lady bug in the cabinet my husband was wondering how I could possibly need 4 similar items when I only have 2 boobs haha. The Boone trove stays on comfortably- and when suction lessens as milk fills the compartment, you simply push down to resuction. It is SO comfortable- and baby cannot kick it off. Oh- and toddler can’t knock it off either haha. It sits comfortably in my bra and is easy to clean with a bottle brush. (Haaka/ would drive me NUTS losing suction and falling OFF spilling my milk and making a mess. I also constantly struggle getting the haaka on and it’s uncomfortable.) Love this milk collector so much! I tried a non-suction Milkies brand milk collector, but it spilled from the top and there wasn’t as much milk let down. I also tried the Hakka breast pump but it’s bulky and would fall off easily during nursing because it doesn’t fit inside a bra. With the boon milk collector: -the suction helps pull down more milk -only one hole means I can bend over without spilling -stays tucked in my bra so it’s very passive milk collection, no effort -pours out easily TLDR: IT’S PERFECT AND I LOVE IT! ... show more

These work... sometimes. I wish I knew exactly what the purpose is... like when should I use these? Ill have completely full leaky breasts and it maybe collects an ounce in 20minutes. Looked at reviews for Trove and the popular other brand ladybug. I decided on trying these and so glad I did. Great suction, better price. I get almost the same amount or more from these manual pumps than my electric pump. I wear one on the other side to collect let down and then I wear both at night (within 4 hr timeframe) for my babies long stretches of sleep. It’s amazing how much I can collect and save for bottles while being able to sleep comfortably. Very thankful I went with this product! Let me preface with - I have not used any other collector cups. BUT - I love these. They are discreet, easy to use, and easy to clean. They stay in place, even in looser bras. I will often use the suction part as part of my morning feeds while my baby is nursing on the other side and normally get between 1-2.5 ounces. This product is fantastic! I used a haakaa occasionally with my first but my son kicked it off and spilled the milk so many times that I couldn’t stand to use it anymore. This is the same theory as the haakaa, but with a much better design! I love that that it sits in my bra and has no chance of being kicked off! I also love that I can use it as a milk catcher without suction or with suction to use as a manual pump.
