Love this mat I ordered for my kitchen! It is identical to the picture and so soft. Made of the perfect material and in a way that is easy to clean, sweep over and move around if needed (but it doesn't move to easily while you are moving about your kitchen). Love that you can change it out with the two different style options and it was exactly what i was needing for my kitchen. Price was also very great for the quality. The mat is just what I wanted. Great quality, great color, easy to clean, great price but the way it was shipped caused a problem. I know for mats/rugs if the box isn’t flat; it has to be rolled up but it’s been weeks and the mat is still trying to curl at the ends. Everyone is tripping on it. I have stood on it, tried flipping it, tried folding it, tried putting something heavy on it, and it still won’t lie flat. Just something to consider before purchasing it. ... show more

    • Taking a while to settle down

I got two of these mats to put in front of the storage wall in our dining room, as digging through them often results in things dropping on the floor which is apparently loud and startling in the basement below. A quick test shows that they succeed in cutting the noise from dropped cans and so forth, so the main issue is solved for a low price. I opted for the wood grain version so they'd blend in, and though they're darker than our floors the appearance is fine. Pros: thick and seems durable has a nonslip surface which may be especially handy in wet areas like the kitchen good size for the price graphic print quality is pretty good no weird smells on unwrapping doesn't slide around much when kicked (which is a good segue into Cons) Cons: as others have mentioned, textured surface is oddly sticky if you're wearing shoes with a tread taking a long time to 'relax' The biggest problem, which is resulting in some tripping, is that the memory in this material is really persistent--these were shipped in tight rolls (as is usual for things like this) with the white side out. It's reversible, so that means if you were after the color on the inside of the roll, you may be struggling to get this thing to lay down. The ends keep curling back up and they've caused some minor tripping, just our feet/shoes catching on it and having to doublestep. My usual trick with rolled rugs and mats is to slip the unrolled item under an area rug overnight to help hold it flat while it's 'relaxing', but that wasn't quite enough. I tried rolling them up with the brown side out (opposite of how they were stored) and tucking them where they'd stay rolled (not as tight as how they were shipped, but rolled) and leaving them like that for half a day. That seemed to work but a few hours later the edges were right back where they were. If it were summer I'd sit them out in the sun to heat them up before trying the roll trick again. Short of digging up a heat gun I'm going to see if flipping them over for a while helps. Maybe the curl issue varies depending on the pattern, and maybe it's only an issue for people depending on which side they wanted to use. I started to give these 4 stars because they meet my primary objective, but the amount of effort it's taking to get them to lay safely flat so we don't trip on them is making me knock it back to 3. However they're nice and thick, and seem like they'll last a while, so if that's your main concern, this is a decent mat for the price. ... show more

Reversible, easy to clean and cushioned! This May is a perfect addition to my kitchen. I have a similar mat in another part of my counter where I do food prep, so I was ready for another near my kitchen sink for when I do dishes & this mat is perfect for absorbing shock and decreasing foot and leg pain. Love it. Its easy to clean. Just spray mr. Clean or any kind of cleaner on it and wipe it and the dirt comes off. I like that it doesn't slide on my hard wood floor. And I' like how you can flip it over and you have another color and design on the other side instead of going out and buying something else. So worth the money. ... show more

It's a great Mat, but it will not lay flat. It curls up on the ends. (It came rolled in the mail) I have tried rolling it up in the opposite direction and leaving it rolled for 24 hours, But it curled up again after about 6 hours. Other than that it's got a great thickness it's comfortable and I like the design. It's been a month now and it still curled up on the edges. Any suggestions? ... show more
