I have 3 stationery pumps, motif Luna and spectra S2 along with now the spectra gold and oh my gosh I love it! I absolutely love that I can control each side separately, it’s very convenient when one nipple is sore. The suction is pretty strong and it only takes less than 6 minutes to empty me out fully. This is my 4th baby and I wish I had gotten this pump earlier, definitely recommend this to any breastfeeding/pumping mom, and exclusively pumping moms. ... show more

Best pump I have ever used…my baby was in the nicu for 3 weeks so I had to pump exclusively during that time and this pump comes the closest to the hospital grade pump without the cost. I tried the medela pump that most insurances cover (don’t remember the name) and a wearable pump. Worth the money and was mostly covered by my insurance. I do like the medela nipple covers better so I bought an adapter to be able to use those but it was like a $2 purchase. ... show more

I bought this as a recommendation from my lactation consultant. I have the Momcozy s12 pro, medela pump in style and this one. I’ve been using it for 2 months now. It is sooooo worth it! The only downfall is being plugged in and not being able to get anything done but it better to relax when pumping anyway. ... show more

    • Do Not buy Spectra
The media could not be loaded. It doesn’t matter WHO you buy this from, the manufacturer Spectra Baby USA has TERRIBLE customer support under their products. I bought this pump less than 3 month ago and the left pump has completely gone out. I contacted Spectra, they told me because I bought off Amazon, they could not help me. They never offered to help troubleshoot. Nothing. They talked like they were Robots…I’m a new mom solely breastfeeding. I now have to run to the store and put my child on formula because they would not accept responsibility for their products. It shouldn’t matter where you purchase a product from. The product itself should be under warranty no matter the seller. Go with another brand, Spectra doesn’t stand behind their warranty. They are short with you over the phone. Waste of $300! But more so, I’m SO disappointed with their customer service team. It’s soooooooooooo sad. ... show more

Love this pump. Love that I can pump on two different settings. I like that it has a light. And the vacuum level can go up to 15 This pump easily empties me. Definitely worth the money. I wish I would’ve purchase this before my other pumps.

PROS: Reliable, doesn't need charging. Will have to sit for pump session which I see as a mandatory break :) Parts easy to clean. Parts easy to assemble, quick start. Two sizes of breast shields provided with device. Easy to adjust suction from very low to higher level. Can adjust suction on each side separately, can start or stop each side separately. Remembers previous session settings Quiet but still audible Night light and back light touch panel Sleek design Very fast international shipping from seller. CONS hooked to electricity, not portable No space to hold bottles like previous models Switching from simulation to expression mode cannot be done separately for each side. Need to manually dial down settings of previous session if you want to start on lower suction. Automatic shut off at 30 minutes (normal for most pumps) Breast shields not so comfortable but not bad either (can connect to pumpables liquid shield set- see pic) Must handle pumped milk carefully, bottles not very stable, also capacity only 160 ml Somewhat large and heavy. Minimal accessories provided with purchase. Milk collection bottles dont come with a cap (rather a teet and disc). Customer service not excellent. Claimed the one I bought off amazon was not genuine. I'm pretty sure its genuine. American plug. Will need adaptor. Voltage compatible with international. Soft pump parts need to be boiled for 2 minutes (standard sterilizer will take longer. I add boiling water to a mug and remove after 2 minutes) Valves and membranes will need replacement (standard for most pumps) I still have to manually massage to get maximum volume. I had higher expectations from a spectra pump, but that could just be my personal anatomy. Overall: I feel it was a valuable purchase and I use it more than my other 2 portable pumps, but I cannot say that it feels very superior. The milk output is about the same range, maybe slightly more. The main reason I stick to is that the pump parts are easier to clean and assemble. I’m a mom of 5 so I’ve had and tried a lot of different pumps. I can say that I really like this pump! My favorite is that you can pump one breast at a time or both together without losing suction power. I like that it has many different setting however I mostly use letdown mood. It also has a cute little nightlight as well. The only downside is that it has to be plugged in and does not have a battery. ... show more
