These filters are very sturdy. They box they are in has cross sections that keep the filter in place, unlike my old brand of filters. I can see the dust and even dog hair that this has filtered out. We have 3 dogs and the hvac is in the room with the doggy door, so they track in a lot of dirt. This filter did a great job of keeping it out of the unit. It is supposed to last for 3 months but I had to change it out after 2, probably because of all the dirt and dander from the dogs. But that's on par with how often I'd have to switch out my old brand. I like that it is the exact size for the door on my unit. It's snug, so it doesn't pull in towards the air suction like the old brand did. And installing was easy because these had arrows directing you which way to face them. Overall they are working great at my house and I'll most likely buy them again once I need more. ... show more

I work with air pollution, buy these. Not only it's manufactured in Texas, but it's also the higher filtering for the cheapest price. You want to filter those smaller PM particles. I can only recommend it.

Bought Merv 13 on advice from technician that does maintenance on our heater. Unfortunately it was too strong, it started to bow in from to much pressure and I’m sure was stressing the heater. My fault, should have questioned him because I already knew what the system would handle. Had to order a lower merv rating that has a better air flow with my heater. We change our filters every 4-6 weeks for health reasons. ... show more
