I have collected many pocket knives over the years but never seem to be carrying one when I need it. Mostly because they wind up in a drawer out of sight, out of mind. When I saw this I realized I can have them sitting out on display where I can actually remember to grab one to carry. It’s well put together, nice and solid, and the drawer opens smoothly. It looks nice and does a decent job holding knives in place. The wooden slots are slanted on the bottom and wide. Since there isn't any foam, some knives tend to fall over. The wood is rough like it needed a sanding between coats of finish. You can see many holes where the brad nails are. Product comes well packaged so there shouldn't be any breakage in transit. I'm slowly getting together presents for the next holiday season, and this will make a great gift for any knife collector! The wood finish is nicely protected, and acrylic is thick and sturdy. It's definitely a huge plus that there's a bit of a secret compartment where my brother in law can easily hide some secrets. Simply a gorgeous way to display and keep your knife collection. It can hold so many, it makes keeping them out a bit safer as well. We can easily swap out which ones are on display in the case when we want to. The case is well built with nice sturdy seams and hinges. Great collector item.
