I recently bought a house that did not have hardwired doorbells. I was looking for a doorbells with camera when I came across this one. I was hesitant since it was so inexpensive. When it arrived, we hung it, plugged in the indoor bell, and hooked it to the wifi. It was simple to install, has a clear and wide view, is easy to recharge, the mic and two way tslk is clear, and to purchase a subscription was inexpensive as well. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the alert to my phone is often delayed even with the bell being on the door right next to my router. This Doorbell camera is just what we needed to feel safer while at home, and away! The motion detection is great and lets you know when something moves at your door. The doorbell on the app is loud and distinctive for me to see someone is at the door, and I have the ability to speak to them through my phone which is great!     • Good Camera So Far, No Complaints
I bought this camera for protection and I got to say, it’s a good camera so far. I haven’t had issue until recently with the app where it randomly kicks me out. But besides that, the camera has good sound quality, camera quality and constantly alerts me when there movement. The doorbell is loud so I love that I’m able to hear it loud and clear especially when I have someone in the household who is losing their hearing. I have been happy with this doorbell so far. It was easy to install and get up and running. The camera works well during day or night. It’s also nice to have the ability to have the motion detector focused on recording movements by people, rather than general motion. My doorbell faces the front yard and a road. Fortunately, I don’t get alerts when cars go by on the road, but will get them if someone is in my yard or front porch. Recommended! ... show more

    • First ring doorbell
So far so good. This is my first ring doorbell. It was a little difficult to connect at first even reading the directions so I set it down and came back a few hours later to try again. This time after reading again and just clicking on the button instead of waiting for it to pair like I thought I was supposed to do it connected right away by me just following the prompts on the app instead of waiting for it to pair lol. I thought it had to pair first, nope just keep on with the prompts on the app and the connection works perfectly. I’ve got it in my living room right now but will be placing it on my door tomorrow. I wanted to be sure it met my needs before mounting. So far I love it. Every time there is motion around it, it sends me a notification. Even just my hand waving in front of it is detected. The picture is perfectly clear and the two way speaker is crystal clear also. Definitely worth the money and a lot cheaper then the name brands. Easy setup. Voice is a little tinny but can understand what is being said. Camera view is good and clear. I would buy another if needed.
