Steam cleaned my mattress and it sucked all the stains out. No more sweat stains or animal stains. It has really good suction and left my bed dry after the use. I didn’t have to wait for it to dry after steaming it. It comes with a sample of the cleaning agent and I loved that so much I got a bigger bottle the very next day. I have cats who from time to time, decide to get sick and throw up on my bedroom carpet. Thank goodness nobody mistakes the carpet for the litter box! Over the years, I’ve tried a variety of products that claim to clean up pet messes. Some have helped a little, but some have made an even bigger mess. You know what I mean. They make you think the area is clean but within a few days, the carpet shows a big dingy dark spot where you cleaned up the mess. I was just about at the point where I was ready to tear out the carpet, but decided to give the Bissell little green pro a try. I pretreated several areas of the carpet first, then went back in and scrubbed/vacuumed up the areas. I was really impressed with the amount of filth that the Bissell pulled up from my carpet! Just remember to hold the scrubber tool upright so you get full suction power when vacuuming up the treated area. If you get lazy and hold the tool at an angle, it will lose suction and won’t vacuum properly. I still have some areas to work on and some of the original spots that I already treated will need to be cleaned again - it’s a work in progress. But I’m so happy with how much better the carpet already looks. As an added plus, the Bissell was easy to use, easy to clean, and best of all, light weight enough to move around on the carpet.
