For those who are new to this product, the size of the bottle has not changed. It is a small concentrated bottle, but it does the job if you follow the instructions. When mixed with water, don't expect it to be smooth like a boxed cake mix. You should be fine if you follow the instructions. According to the new packaging, the formula has changed but it still works great for me. They used to include disposable gloves but they don't include them any more. It is easy enough to apply myself. My hair is natural and has not been permed. in over 15 years. I love that I can apply it myself and I don't have to spend hours in a hair salon. I get good results that last as long as it would if it were done professionally. It does not burn or irritate my scalp because there are no harsh chemicals like ammonia. But everyone's skin is different so if you have never used a product or if you have sensitive skin, you should always test a small area before using it (as the instructions say). Color is consistent. More work to apply. Can potentially get two treatments out of one bottle but knowing how much to tap out is a pain. Leave in longer than usual. Doesn’t last any longer than the box. Best part is no amonia and no peroxide so the lift isn’t prominent and you won’t burn your follicles out. I love this hair dye!! It is permanent but when you wash the dye out it doesn't stain your fingernails!! And I only have to wash your hair once to throughly remove the dye! No horrible ammonia smells either!! I will never use another hair dye!! The most important thing everyone needs to know is this dye is WAY DARKER than what is specified!!
