I wish it had a feature to charge the battery when it's in the vehicle vs having to take it out. This thing is very.. peppy. Fast and wants to go. The flat feature is cool as well. My 6-year old son badly wanted an RC car like he sees guys playing with at the park or in our neighborhood. We purchased him one and he promptly broke it. Seems like a pretty durable RC for kids so far. Not very fast, but perfect for my 6 yr old. You can push a button if you flip over and it will change its shape and you can drive it again without having to go put it right side up. Affordable and durable. Hopefully it lasts. The car is quite nice, it works (for now) and the transformation trick is great. It can also run on both sides (in racer mode) which is great. My son is so far very happy with his present. There are a couple of aspects that should be improved though: 1) the car does not go straight and there is no trim setting for the direction so no way to fix it. The curve it follows when going "straight" is actually quite pronounced. It's not just a light drift. You have to correct course every second or so. My son still has fun with it though. 2) the batteries are of the type that connect through a wire connector. This is not durable at all as the wire will eventually break. Better designs have a battery pack that can be inserted into the body of the car without fiddling with wires. At least the connector is quite common on chinese-made RC cars so replacement batteries should be easy to find. 3) the commands are all or nothing. There is no way to increase the speed gradually or turn only a little. Again, not a deal-breaker for a kid's toy but I wish this worked better. I have also looked at RC cars priced $200 and higher and while they did not have the problems above, they did not transform and could not be driven on both sides. That is why I ended up buying this one. Battery pack: this car comes with a single battery. The seller sent me an extra one at no cost because I pointed out the "what is inside the box" picture had 2 batteries on it. The picture has been corrected since. Good customer service!     • Super fun but long charge time

The media could not be loaded. Bought this for Christmas for my son. He loves it! It’s almost impossible to get it stuck. It has this neat feature that lets you drive it normal and then flatten it down. So if it flips onto its back you flatten it and it will drive without having to flip it back over. It’s fast and goes over items pretty well. The only downside is the charge time. It takes 4-5 hours! Play time is between 20-30 minutes. So it’s great for a short time and then is useless for a long time. But because of the neat features and how much my son loves it I’m giving it 4 stars. I just wish either the play time was longer or the charge time was shorter. ... show more
