Just installed this on my new iPad air 11" (2024) since the Paperlike for the new iPads is on pre-order until early July. My iPad mini has had a Paperlike on for the past 3 years, finally decided to replace that as well so I could compare both of them fresh out the package. Honestly it's just as good for 1/5th the cost. Installation is exactly the same. I recommend you watch the Paperlike install video and just follow along. It has all the same stickers and whatnot. It was prone to a bit more bubbling during install but they are easily pushed out using the tool provided. I only have one teeny tiny bubble (that you can't even see in the pics, it's so small) because I missed a speck of dust before installing. In my pics the left/top (mini) is the brand new Paperlike, and the right/bottom (air) is this product brand new. Apple pencil is working equally well on both. Only thing I noticed is that when you run a finger across it feels *slightly* less textured. Which makes me think it won't last as long as Paperlike before needing replacement. But for 1/5th the price, I'm ok with it not lasting 3 yrs. ... show more

I followed the instructions to a T, and the results were great. I had some minor bubbles show up on one of four edges of the screen, but the included “squeeze card” helped me remove them. The reduction in glare is pretty good, and it feels very nice to rest my palm on the screen as I write. For reference, I installed this on the iPad Air 11 Inch M2 (2024, seen in image). Writing on it with the Apple Pencil Pro feels great! I highly recommend this ... show more

you get what you pay for, a decent screen protector. I recently got a new ipad for school so i found the closest thing i had on my last one. This one does its job but it isn’t paper feel really. it’s more of a velvet?? feel, it doesn’t have the friction I wanted but it works, no scratches or anything so far. it does smudge a bit easier than i’m used to aswell but wipes off easily. beware ipad air 6th gen users, the fit is very tight landscape wise. while putting it on, you have to be precise, pretty much to the millimeter. ... show more

I really wanted this to work but i have the brand new ipad air which i did notice that the size of the protector does not fit the screen entirely even though it says it should fit my ipad, and no matter how many times i tried there were a lot of air bubbles i followed all the steps and it stilll got a lot of air bubbles so this product is a no for me. I can’t have a protector with bubbles especially since i use my device for note taking and drawing so ill be looking for a better option and may just have an apple tech put the protector on for me 🤷🏾♀️ all in all it was a cheap protector so you get what you pay for ... show more

I LOVED THE INSTALLATION TOOLS IT BRINGS! I’m one that hates bubbles or any misalignment when placing a screen protector but with all the tools this product included the installation was easy to make it as perfect as I love it to be. If there was any correction to make when installing it could be corrected without damaging the screen protector. The feel is perfectly as I imagined, definitely my favorite screen protector. I use my iPad constantly for my art and wanted the Paper like brand. Too expensive (even with my employee discount!) and looked for an alternative. This works great and love the feel. My pencil glides smoothly over the screen. It honestly feels like you’re drawing on paper

This works fine as a screen protector, but I specifically wanted a paper feel that I had with my old screen protector. This one has a slight texture, but still too smooth for my liking. If you rely on the apple pencil for writing or drawing, I would try something else.
