I absolutely love this flat top griddle! I use it all the time for dinner or breakfast! It’s very light weight. It’s easy to store in your kitchen. I also love how easy it is to clean! It gets hot quickly and food cooks perfectly and fast! The ease of making different meals on this all at one time makes it easier to end of meal clean up! I use this griddle as much as possible! It’s so versatile in the different things I can cook! My favorite to cook is steak and shrimp on it. I can even sauté some veggies on it with no mess or hassle of another pan. This is a must have in the kitchen! I love the size of it, it fits perfectly on my counter and hold a lot of food at one time. It even comes with its own grease trap to catch all the excess oil or grease the comes off the griddle. It’s very stable and sturdy does not lean or tilt when you put the food on it. Really good product. Clean up is just wiping it off since the nonstick works so well. Heat is a little uneven but it makes for one spot being a warming area with the rest for cooking, so kind of nice.

This is a well built, great product with a non-stick surface that works well when maintained. HOWEVER the instructions are useless so read these suggestions! First - when seasoning the cooking surface use Vegetable or Canola oil (not mentioned) NOT olive oil. Second - food was sticking and I was getting scorch marks on the surface because I was going too easy when cleaning the ceramic surface. I let the gridle cool to warm after use and gently used a wet Scotch Brite sponge pad (dollar stores at $1.25 - but get Scotch brand!) and the scorching was gone. we got this griddle 18 months ago and have used it plenty. Mostly for pancakes (5 boys) but also for a variety of other foods. obviously with a large family we need a large griddle - and we don't want to pull a giant cast iron griddle down and cover the stove so we picked up this electric griddle. *COOKING* it cooks 'OK'. TEMP Control: unless you have a infrared thermometer you're not going to get a precise temperature. not a lot of fidelity on the small dial - but most griddles i've ever known in the last 40 years are like that. EVEN Heating? No - the aluminum is so thin that even on low temperatures or after pre-heating you're going to get a band of hot around the outside and a much cooler inside. **CLEANING** the surface has held up well - and with a tiny bit of butter wiped on the surface between pancake rounds it works great. however just like nearly all of the griddles out there you'll find that food and gunk get caught in the handles and places where it is very hard to clean - so minus one star there. **BUILD** why is the metal so thin? this is disappointing for so many griddles out there. if you put any cool/cold foods on this the heat is immediately sapped and the griddle takes a while to come back to temp. Also after only 18 months the griddle has warped with the middle of the griddle lower than the sides (ok - maybe only a 1/8 inch but it is noticeable). Since we store it vertically with nothing on it i surmise that this is just from the heating and cooling. **SIZE** Yup - its pretty big. i like big. i'd like bigger - but this is about as big as you get without buying a commercial kitchen. you can do 8 medium size pancakes if you're careful - i generally do 6 larger well spaced cakes. overall this griddle is just fine. am i enamored? no. but for the price it works. ... show more

I have only used it once and so far I really like it. Very light weight and sooo easy to clean. Just detach cord, remove drip tray and stick it under water and wash. Will be perfect for pancakes and French toast with its large cooking surface.

I love this skillet! I hate to cook but I love fresh pancakes in the morning. I plug it in and by the time I mix the batter it's ready to go. It's worth the few dollars more for the midsize as it is 1500W opposed to 1200W. Things cook quickly and completely. And clean up? I've never owned anything that is this easy to clean. Just wipe it off. Don't hesitate...buy it, you won't be sorry! On top of it's grest performance, it is very attractive. I'm done with Teflon! It's ceramic from now on. No more of that scratched up and faded black surface. Oh no! Now it's a shining, slick goldish orange color! I just couldn't be happier with this product! ... show more

    • This Made Me So Angry!

So I received my griddle in the mail. Unpacked and rinsed it off. Plugged it in and conducted a test run with pancakes. Within about 5 minutes, I got so angry with what I just experienced... 7 years ago I purchased a gas stove/oven combo with a electric griddle top. I paid something like $7,000 for it. It took about 30 minutes to heat up to 350 degrees F. This Bella griddle heated up in like 2 minutes! It's not a microwave... it's not supposed to be that quick! And it cooked my pancakes better than my much more expensive "professional" stove top. I'm so angry I didn't know about this Bella griddle sooner. What a waste of money I experienced for not buying this griddle sooner! Don't waste your money like I did. Stop waiting and buy this today. I like that it heats up REALLY QUICK. I like that the surrounding area of it remains cool to the touch so if you needed to move it while cooking, no problem. It also rapidly cools down when turned off. What I don't like about it is that my counter space is too small and I have to put it away in a cabinet after use, which then limits the number of times I can use it throughout the day. ... seriously though, I don't really know of any serious negatives. If you want to be super critical, you could save it does not cook completely even. If you flip it over, you will see where the coil runs around and that is going to be the hottest part on the griddle. It's pretty evenly distributed though so unless you are really looking for it, you will not notice it. I cooked pancakes, eggs, burgers, and fajitas with no problem. I actually enjoyed it more than my bbq. To the sellers... thanks for making an excellent product and for offering it at a reasonable price. ... show more
