I had a rodent problem and bought this device to ensure they were not there anymore. I put this camera in the attic to track any of them as this deal was cheap and boy - this device is well beyond all my expectations! Jyst fy, I live in Houston, we have a hot and humid climate, and it gets insanely hot in the attic (I had to take the modem away as it was constantly overheating), but this camera is working 24/7 without any issues! Pros: - Great night vision (see the attached picture taken in complete darkness) - Reliable (I had not a single issue with it at all after ~1 month of use) - Great motion detection (it even caught flies) with multiple levels of sensitivity - Controlled remotely - my god, this is my favorite part, so I don't have to go into the attic to adjust the observed zone - Has an SD card - Has paid and free subscription, which is more than enough to store videos in the clouds, I don't even use the SD card slot - Easy to plug and play, everything went smooth and hassle-free - Bugless app - not a single issue - Powered from USB (i.e. no need to recharge) - So cheap, but well-made product! Cons: Unbelievable, but there are none! Without any "for the price", just NONE! The price is very low, the build quality is amazing, and the images and videos are perfect. I would recommend it to a friend. Actually, the company that was working on the rodents issue got interested in it so they ordered some of them. Setting up the camera is very easy using your phone and the barcodes. The setup walks you through everything with clear prompts. Under the settings, you have many options. For example, you can adjust the sensitivity for motion detection and specify what types of motion trigger notifications, such as a human, pet, or other movements. If you have a weak network signal, you can lower the resolution as needed. The camera includes limited free cloud storage for remote access to any motion detected. The local SD card records continuously, overwriting when full. You can subscribe for additional cloud storage and some of the more advanced functions. Unlike many similar cameras, you don’t have to subscribe to get the limited cloud storage and motion notifications. You can share access to the camera with others via the VICOHOME app, which is handy if you want family members or neighbors to check in on your house or pet. You can disable the sound on either the SD card or cloud videos. The camera can set off the built-in alarm automatically with motion detection or manually by the user. The motion detection worked reasonably well, often correctly identifying humans, pets, or other movements. The motion tracking is OK, and struggled to keep the moving object centered. It could not keep up with fast-moving objects. Both of these features need improvement, but they worked as well as other cameras under $100 that I've tried. The camera maintains good color images even in very low light and switches to night vision using infrared when it gets very dark. There are several options to control if and when night vision is used, depending on the lighting conditions, which is useful for different environments. It even has a feature that allows you to set up a sleep schedule to turn the camera off during certain periods. The camera runs on a supplied 5V USB power supply but does not have any type of battery backup. To access all the advanced features, you need to subscribe to the upgraded service, but it’s not required to make this a useful camera. Picture is great quality of both day and night is better than I expected. Not much of a delay compared to my other cameras. The sound quality is good not perfect but good enough to easily understand what is going on. Love the fact that it pans and tilts. Very affordable camera you can pay for cloud storage or use a microSD card. The app is very easy to use and performance is great. I may be purchasing more in the future. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The camera is really good! The image quality is really surpassed my expectation. It is pretty clear. Very sensitive for motion detection and the video is clear. The camera itself is beautiful ( see the photo), I put it in my living room on top of the fireplace. I checked the night vision as well. Also clear and sensitive for motion detection. In general, it is a really good camera. No matter you install at the front door or indoor. You can get high quality movies. Most importantly, it is affordable and easy to install. The video quality is so clear and the sound is crisp. The set up was quick and easy. I get notifications in a quick manner. I get to see my fur kids while at work. This is a great quality camera with a great price!

I love these cameras, I have 3 inside for my home so far and they are very good quality! The picture is very clear , sound is nice. I like that i can check all them on the same app. My kids like when I bust em in action and switch the LED spotlight on them they instantly know they are busted lol. Night vision is even very clear, it's has great battery life I keep my motion sensitivity about in the middle and only have to charge it once a month. Over all great camera! ... show more
