This little monitor was easy to set up and use. It could be a little louder but it's not so low that you can't hear it. The night vision works well and it bounces back between room to room every 5-10 seconds on the audio. I bought this used and it's been a good deal so far

    • Worthless junk! This is the 2cd one! The battery stops charging after 6 weeks.
This is the second one of these baby monitors that I have bought. I bought the first one in 2020 when my disabled adult son had covid. It worked great for checking on him without disturbing him. I liked that it was very reasonably priced and had 2 cameras. The picture was super clear and it was easy to use. That unit made it to 2023 but it started not to hold a battery charge and turn itself off. I couldn't find a replacement battery on Amazon at the time for it so I ordered a new baby monitor. Same brand, newer model. The new one I bought (September 2023) has a split screen option but the video quality is horrible. Not like the old model at all. The split screen is useless because it goes out of focus. It's reasonably in focus when a single camera is selected. Now after only having this baby monitor 6 weeks the battery has stopped charging and it turns itself off all the time just like the old model. (I'd return it but the return window is closed.) I just ordered a new battery for it. (I got lucky this time and they had one on Amazon for $20) I'm hoping that fixes the problem with it. If not, it's going in the trash and I'll just find one at Walmart or Target. I'm tired of dealing with the stupid thing. Update: The additional battery I bought doesn't fix the problem with this baby monitor holding a charge. ... show more

I love that I can see both of our kid's rooms but the view is so small that, even at a distance, I feel like I only see less than half of the room. Easy to see the baby in her crib, hard to tell what the toddler is up to. It also has connection issues quite frequently from their rooms to down the hall to ours. ... show more

This monitor system works great and I love the split screen option since I have two kids. After about 8 months of use and over a year after purchase I dropped the monitor and it broke in a way that it still worked but the power button wouldn’t work anymore. I contacted the company to see if I could just purchase the monitor for it since I didn’t need anymore cameras. They sent me a new monitor for free! Definitely suggest buying this brand! ... show more

My kids share a room and I now have one pointed at each of their beds. Being able to see them both on the baby monitor has made such a difference as I’m no longer carrying around two baby monitors and I can see who is up/out of bed/coughing etc. we frequently use the music feature as well to get my infant son to fall asleep and he falls asleep from wide awake within two minutes every time. Highly recommend, it’s not the best range I have experienced on a baby monitor, if you have a very large house this may be an issue! ... show more

    • Meh- not impressed
Bottom line: I’d rather use my vtech monitor. I’m not sure why, but these cameras are super zoomed in just in their normal state. Yes, I checked the zoom settings... I had to Mount these as close to the ceiling as possible to get our babies crib in the whole view, but on split screen mode we only can see part of the crib because of the way the screen is split. Our 7 year old has a queen sized bed in his room and we can only see the top half of it, also mounted as close to the ceiling as possible. We have a vtech and the picture quality does not even compare, vtech looks like hi-def compared to the JLB. We wanted a new monitor because our vtech was having consistent connection issues and our son recently had a seizure so we need to be able to see him and not sneak in multiple times to turn the camera off and on. And also to see what our 7 year old was up to after we put him to bed… So far, connection on the JLB is good, but we didn’t have issues with our vtech for over a year and we have only had the JLB installed for a week. I wouldn’t buy this again. Had I known how the zoom was going to be, I would have just bought another vtech and put the bad connection one in our 7 year olds room since we really don’t need to monitor him. ... show more

    • Good camera less good features
I like how big the screen is! Our previous camera was small. But what I miss about our previous camera that this one doesn’t, you were able to move the camera, now when my daughter moves out of the screen, I can no longer see her. I suppose I can move the camera to get a full view of the crib but I am renting and don’t want to put holes in the walls. The temperature seems to be off by about 5 degrees which was annoying at first but now that I know the difference I just know what temperature to look for now. I wish there was a way when it’s on split screen for the sound to either go back and forth or to go to whichever one is making the noise. As far as I can tell, you are stuck on one screen in split screen until you manually go to the other screen for sound. I bought this one for the split screen feature so it not being able to do that and will only switch sounds when the screens go back and forth is a bummer. You also can’t go to the menu to change sound or anything until you are on one screen, not the split screen. It’s a good camera and I do like the split screen but I wish there were more features for the split screen as far as sound goes! ... show more
