This little tool kit has most of your basics for beginning wire wrapping projects! I would also buy an end cutter and nylon pliers as well though! The copper wire really came in handy to just mess with and get the hang of manipulating wire etc. It’s a good buy and the tools are decent quality. See the pictures of my first projects done with this kit above! The pendants I made came out well and I incorporated the copper wire that came in this kit. I also added in the thicker titanium wire I got from my local hobby store. I love the fact that it comes with the ring sizers as well. I didn’t plan on getting into ring making but if I do I’m set! See picture of the additional cutter/nylon pliers that would come in handy if you’re looking for all the essentials. I bought those from Amazon as well. ... show more

I’m still learning, but this has almost everything you need to get started. If you attend YouTube University manny will suggest that you have flush cutters which don’t come with this kit, but overall it’s great deal for the price and you’ll be able to make something special.

For the deal I got during Prime Day, this was a real bargain! I am very pleased! The metal tools work in the manner they should. It has some plastic pieces in it, but they don't have any sharp flashing remnants like you usually find with cheap plastic items. That being said, cheap or better plastic definitely won't last as long as something made of metal. Sometimes, in reviews, I think people give an bad reviews on plastic items not lasting and the real problem is that some people just don't handle things properly & it breaks sooner than it should. Case is much smaller than what it appears to be, ring sizers do not fit in the case, I guess where it is pictured open it makes it look bigger than what it really is. Ring sizer is nice to have, but they are plastic so not sure how long they will hold up. The wire spools do not have any indication of how much is on the roll, so not sure how much I can make with them. There are findings in the little box that I have never seen or used before, be interesting to see what they are used for. I want more of those little organizer boxes btw, in several sizes. The scissors are not of the best quality, pretty cheaply made. The pliers and wire cutter seem to be decent quality, have not used them yet however. I bought it all using a $25 gift card given to me at work, so I am not out any money at all. For the price however, if you are just getting started and don't want to spend a lot on tools, it is a good starter kit to see if the hobby is for you, then later upgrade to better quality tools. ... show more
