This product does wonderfully when it comes to coloring the hair. My hair is pretty dark and it was really vibrant even on my hair. I feel like this is good for maybe one day of pictures or a concert. But even after diffusing my hair like suggested and leaving it in for a week, I was still getting color transfer all over my pillows and clothes. Be prepared to not touch ur hair at all. The wax comes of on anything it touches. My pillow covers were not happy. (Good thing tho is that it’s not that hard to wash off) Also if u have really dark hair, the red barely shows. Mine was only noticeable in the sunlight.

As a license hair dresser, I was excited to try this product, and was just as disappointed. This product became my skin tanning product instead of the color gel. I had red anywhere I placed my head at, it ran down my neck , forehead, face , ears and please note this was after I left it in my hair to dry for more than 12 hours. You can not even touch your hair to style it cause your fingers will turn red. It was terrible!! Do not waste your money!!! ... show more

I have dirty blonde hair, so when I applied I applied it to my wet hair, one application the red POPPED off and it looked amazing especially when it dried. Be aware to not put too much because it does get everywhere and it does stain your clothes!
