I did a lot of research when choosing my baby camera. I wanted a camera that had both the option of connecting to wifi in case I needed to be far away from home as I tend to travel but also be able to disable it if I wanted to and only use the parent unit. This camera serves the purpose. You can either enable/disable wifi whenever you want. PERK: when wifi is enabled it can display you the entire list of people /emails that have accessed your camera and at what time (which theoretically should be only people you've given access too which in a way gives you a piece of mind considering wifi hacks and stuff I've read about). Image quality: this camera has a great image quality. I live in a 3rd world country and do not have access to the best internet but I really get a very clear image from the baby (even breathing at some point) which gives you a piece of mind. The night vision is really good you get a very very clear image too. Connectivity: it is fairly easy to get this camera set up, just follow the instructions. It might take a couple minutes to get the hang of it but nothing that anyone who has ever set up anything up couldn't handle. NOTE: the camera does need to be plugged in all the time to be able to work, there is no battery on it (and honestly couldn't find any camera that had a battery). This might be a downsize when living in a country like mine where there are shutdowns sometimes and you would loose total access to the camera. Parent unit: the monitor is great, it provides a lot of information like room temp and humidity. You can enable motion tracking, noise/crying notifications, tempeture notifications amongst others. You can enable night light (different color options), you can enable music, you can talk to your baby etc. It is very handy and it has several options as you can only set up audio if you want and turn off the screen to save battery. This unit does come with a battery (maybe not the best duration), you can dim the light and volume too. You can choose for it to turn off the entire monitor after a certain period of time or you can just have audio on the back for the entire time or you can just have it turned on the whole time both audio and video. CONS: Don't know if it was bad luck but the charging slot in my monitor started to malfunction like 7 month later, it is like a false contact in the charging port so I have to do all sort of things with the cable like bending it, tapping it etc to make it charge. I did write to the support and they answered right away looking for a solution (will update later). Cellphone app: it is really good, takes a couple of minutes to load and then you are good to go. You can handle lots of settings via the app too, similar to the parent monitor. You can go back in time, check videos, take snapshots etc. I love that you don't actually have to pay for the playback and you can go back as far as you want. MEGA PRO: I feel like no one is actually talking about this (honestly I don't know of all apps do this and this is actually just regular) but I really really love the fact that when you open the app video if you tap "back" on your phone it will display a background pop up (has 3 available sizes) of the video which can run on the back of your cellphone and whatever you are doing. You can move it around to any place in your screen in case it gets in the way and you can actually see and hear everything even though you are no longer in the app per se. I just LOVE this feature because I can work freely on my phone, text, do whatever I want and I still get to see and hear my baby in a corner i choose. It even runs in the back if you lock your phone which is the BEST as sometimes I just lay it down while doing something else and can still hear if anything comes up. Of course if you are wanting to move the camera or click on any other setting you would have to click the pop-up window and it will take you back to the app where you can do all this setup. I think this is the most amazing feature as a travel and just love to see and hear my baby all the time. Beware that of course having this pop-up running in the back will probably discharge your phone quicker. Overall even though my charging port from the parent unit is having trouble I really love this camera. I am currently pregnant and definitely will buy a second one. It has a lot of features that definetly fit in with what I was looking for. ... show more

We really enjoy the dual option of app or using the hand held monitor. The night vision mode is very clear and is easy to operate. The handheld unit and app is user friendly. It also works on our Amazon echo. All of the cameras and features were super easy to setup. I always judge a product based on its service. The 2nd camera started to disconnect and they quickly determined it was a hardware issue and sent us a new one immediately. They stand by their product. ... show more

This baby camera does the job and it has surprisingly nice features to it. Unfortunately with all camera white, it does yellow and such if exposed to the sun. That being said, the features are not bad but I would not say this is the best camera. That being said, it still a decent baby monitor cameras. My brother has this on the night stand facing the baby. This is not one of those mounting or clip on cameras so be aware of that. The application is not bad and it works for what my brother need it to do which is recording and viewing. There is storage recording but you will need to provide you own micro SD card. The application also does notify me on app when someone walks by due to motion sensor which is nice when you want to know when your baby is awake. It does record and has a nice night light feature. The bunny ears are nice but does not really have any other purpose other than ascetic. The bunny ears are pretty solid. The picture quality is not bad. It has a microphone and you do hear some ambient noise around the room. Also if dust gets on the screen you just see these blotches on your camera especially during the night. It does have night vision and motion sensor for the night light. I actually like the little light feature. You can adjust the camera accordingly but not so much on the controls. The motion sensor will turn it back on or if you access the camera. The screen does not consume too much power and actually last for quite sometimes before needing to recharge. The camera is powered by wall plug. The setup for this is fairly easy. Majority of this setup can easily be done on your phone if needed. You just need to connect it to your wifi network and once that is done you can easily access it through the application be aware though that this device does not support 5 ghz. The night vision is okay but one thing to note is that you need to have this pointing away from walls. If you have it facing a wall the night vision may not work well as it reflects the night vision off the wall causing this BRIGHT reflection. The hand held is nice so you can put it down next to your bed. You can move the camera as needed and adjust everything on this. It will last for several hours and you can have it plugged in as needed. Overall this is a surprisingly good camera. It gives you both the option of using it on your phone or the hand held provided. The hand held and app are very easy to use which is good. It stays connected pretty well. ... show more

Finally set up the Arenti camera and so far we really like it. Setting it up was super easy. The picture quality is pretty decent until zooming in and we really like how it can also act as a night light and plays music. My only complaint is the portable tablet absolutely DOES NOT hold a charge at all and pretty much has to be plugged in all the time. Don’t know if I just got a faulty one, but I find it really annoying so you have to use the app if you really want to step away and keep an eye on baby. ... show more
