Size: 83-Piece 1/4”Drive Impact Socket Set
I needed a 1/4-drive socket set to supplement my 3/8- and 1/2-drive sets. This one is excellent--- Contents--Complete complement of of both SAE and metric deep and shallow sockets; push-button release, 72-tooth ratchet; driver-style handle; 2" and 10" extensions; universal joint adapter; 3/8-drive adapter, cross-drilled so it can slide over either extension to make a T-handle; drill chuck adapter; and a set of screwdriver tips plus a bit-holder for them. Sockets--well made, black finish chrome vanadium steel, 6-point. ID--The sockets themselves are well marked, with black numerals within light-colored squares. The deep sockets snap into the lid on their sides, so their markings show clearly. The shallow sockets however sit vertically down in individual holes in the plastic case so their markings are not visible. Every item has case markings next to it in raised plastic letters/numerals. I found those to be hard to see. I used a marking pen to carefully blacken the top surfaces of all the raised case markings making them all stand out prominently. Case--Very compact and reasonably well made, with positive gripping latches. In a video, an earlier reviewer described the case as easily releasing the pieces. I did not find it so. I found many of the pieces to be aggressively held in place. On the plus side, they don't come loose in the case during travel, but on the negative side I found some of them to be difficult to remove. I ended up throwing a small flat-bladed screwdriver into the case to use to quickly lever pieces free. I recently installed a jackshaft garage door opener on my garage, and apart from my power drill, this set was all I used for the entire install. I'm very pleased with my purchase. ... show more

First of all, the seller should add to the product description, the ratchet is a 72 tooth count ratchet. I was definitely not expecting a performance ratchet in this set. This product is no different than name brand, high durability, high value tools. They also come with machine oil residue on the tools, which is great for preventing rust and maintaining their sleek look. Connection of sockets to ratchet is tight. For how much this tool kit is you really can’t beat it. I was a bit skeptical at first seeing some of the reviews saying it may come with missing pieces, broken, etc. Well mine came completely brand new and sealed. In terms of looks they look great, a bit oily but nothing a rag won’t fix. Material wise, it feels good, I’d definitely use it for impact guns/drills purposes. If you can’t afford the brands like matco, snap-on, or heck even some Home Depot brands, I’d recommend getting this for any beginner to intermediate user. I do want to mention though, this bundle would’ve flew with 5 stars if it wasn’t for the swivel adapter that comes with the kit—it broke on like the 4th use. So I’d recommend buying a separate swivel adapter or heads in replacement of the one that comes with the kit. Other than that one piece breaking the rest of the tools are pretty solid. ... show more
