Recently I have bleaches the tips of my hair and added the color over that and it is even more striking. As if fades it leaves a soft hot pink hue to the hair. I love Arctic Fox! Every color I use has been vibrant and non damaging to my hair. ( direct dyes shouldn’t ever damage hair but there are brands that find a way to do so). I wash my hair multiple times a week, so I might fade quicker than some users, but the size of bottle will get me through 3 applications, so one bottle lasts me about 3 months! Pictured is 12 hrs after coloring my hair, bright and beautiful, and will stay bright for about 2 weeks then starts to fade, but people still comment me on my hair after faded, saying it looks on purpose, like pastel. Best results on bleached hair! ( I decided over the last couple of months I wasn’t going to continue to bleach my roots, just let it grow out and continue coloring what’s already been bleached fun colors untill it doesn’t look right to do so anymore, so that’s why roots aren’t blue ) ... show more

so the semi-perm means it last about 10 wash i guess, cause after 2 weeks or so of shower all the color is gone i usually use perm hair dye from like other brands but those usually like you mix the bottle n u gotta use it all at once or waste it, while this brand u can still reuse it if u didn't finish the bottle so i love that.. however cause i didnt expect it to wash out so fast is what lost a star for me, i know it's not perm but the semi still felt short.. cause usually perm hair dye would last me like 1/2 a yr+ before i have to reapply so those actually feels more worth it despite being 1 use.. ... show more

This color is spot on exactly what I wanted and I’m super happy! I grew up in the 90’s in the punk and grunge era and vivid hair was on trend, but I was never allowed to dye my hair. Then as an adult, every job I had (until my current job) wouldn’t allow anything other than what could be considered a natural color. So really, my inner teenager is so beyond stoked right now! lol this product couldn’t be easier to use! I just dumped it in a bowl, applied to my hair with a gloved hand, let it set for 45 minutes (it says at least 30 minutes) and rinsed with cold water to set the color. Prior to coloring I did bleach to an almost platinum blonde. My natural color is medium to dark brown. Don’t mind the messy hairline, I’m no professional lol and the other thing I really love about this brand is that it smells freaking FANTASTIC!!! I think it smells like grape koolaid or grape candy. Ordered the silver gray color since my hair is pretty much white at the roots and is a blah old lady white w/o adding color. No burning or bad smell from the product but is fading after 3 washes. Comes without any tools or accessories so you are on your own with application. I have a hair color applicator brush/comb so I was able to get the job done. Very thick and creamy so nothing running down you face and neck. I was trying to avoid doing all over color to retain some of the light slightly blond tone highlights I put in a few weeks ago after using another brand of silver hair color which turned my hair dark blue purple. So perhaps I could have left this color on longer. Since first time using it I didn’t want my hair to turn purple blue and feel too conspicuous for 2 weeks of multiple shampooing while it washed out to a nice shade. I don’t think this Srctic Fox hair coloring has any conditioner it it because my hair was dry afterward. Not sure if I will use again. Hard to fin Silver gray cruelty free hair color. ... show more

I ordered this and another semi-permanent hair dye. I have small strands of silver hairs, which the dye doesn't bond to for very long. The Pic with my hair wet is after I rinsed the dye out. It is important to know that I have light brown/dirty blonde colored hair. I didn't bleach my hair before I used this color. It will dye your skin so take precautions, like using vasoline around the hairline. Rubbing Alcohol will take it off as well (that's why my scalp, face, and hands aren't dyed. This dye smells fabulous, like a grape type scent... kinda like Aussie hair products. The pics of myself facing the sun is 2 days after using the dye. I shampooed and conditioned my hair with my preferred brand. Also, little tip, I followed the directions, put on clean unconditioned dry hair. I left it on my hair for 2 hours. Then TaDa! Now to see how many washes it takes to fade!!! ... show more
