  • I rarely give 5 star reviews, but this toy really surprised me
I fly hobbyist-level RC aircraft, so when I opened this box and saw what this toy offered, I was a bit worried as well as impressed. The battery seemed small, and the plane overall felt like it would be too heavy to fly. I was wrong on the second one, very wrong. This little aircraft can get quite a bit of height, and it maintains a stable flight. It does turn slowly since it uses differential thrust instead of flaps, but you can get past that by cutting the main power and letting it 'fall' into a sharper turn, then increasing the power. It's also a remarkably sturdy little toy, I would not be worried about it crashing into basically anything at its weight and speed. The soft, rubber nose cone is an excellent addition for beginner flight, both for the safety of the aircraft and for the safety of bystanders. It comes with propeller-guards, landing gear, and THREE batteries! Usually similar kits only come with two, so I was very happy to see three. It means you can get almost an hour of flight in (one battery flew for well over fifteen minutes for me). Pros: -very sturdy -comes with EVERYTHING you need (including batteries for the remote!)(and screwdriver, charger, extra propellers, extra guards, extra batteries) -stable, predictable, steady flight -looks cool with the LEDs Cons: -the noise of the propellers can get irritating, it's like a drone or large mosquito -getting the tail fins on was a bit difficult and I was worried I'd break it Overall: -I 100% recommend this for beginner fliers. It's a great toy that is purpose-built to be a first-time flier's perfect starter craft. It turns slowly, but that's really my only qualm. ____________________ My rating system: 5 Stars: Blew my mind, excellent. 4 Stars: Really good. 3 Stars: Average, nothing to write home about. 2 Stars: It has some problems. 1 Star: I don't like it and wouldn't get it. ... show more

  • Great value but takes some practice to fly
Well where to start but with the pros, it's priced great and makes a great under $50 white elephant gift, etc. The plane is lightweight and comes with 2 batteries and a controller. I tried this out in an open field away from traffic and trees I am not the greatest pilot I will admit I am a rookie with this type of RC plan. I can fly drones somewhat but this took a lightly longer for me to get used to. I would recommend this for slightly older kids 12 or older since it can take some getting used to. Also, it's foam construction plan, so I would not recommend you fly this on a windy day. There are really no cons its priced accordingly for what you are getting, it is a bit challenging to those first-time pilots of RC planes but the value is there. ... show more

  • A better way to learn to fly an RC plane
This RC plane is a better way to learn how to fly an RC plane. If you are familiar with the control of a drone, then you will be good with this one. I like that you have two ways of taking off: a runway take-off or a launch. Either one is excellent for learning the controls of the RC plane. The other best thing is that you do not need to worry about destroying or breaking it apart when you crash. The body is strong, and the attachments are meant to come out in a crash landing. I've crashed it a couple of times, and all I've had to do is just put the tail fins and fan covers back. The only thing you will need to worry about is getting it stuck in a tree. ... show more

  • It's fun
Beginner friendly yes, but only if you have no trees covering your view. Especially at the beginning, take it to a open field with no obstacles. The airplane flew pretty steady, calm and it was sort of relaxing. Three batteries are nice, so you get more flight time. Have a power bank with you to be able to charge the batteries on the road. Our pine tree was in the way. Soooo I messed up and it ended up on a branch. Now the airplane is in the tree and I have to wait for it to come back down. Let's call this a hardcore durability and quality test. It landed on the belly, the electronics should be covered. One day the plane will come back down and I can't wait to see if it will still fly or not. I sure will give an update on this. So if you have a giant backyard or a field near you, don't hesitate to get it. ... show more

  • Didnt fly well for me
This didnt fly well for me but Im used to flying airframes that have up and down controls. Its not a bad little plane, I would just prefer something with a little more control. This is likely a good plane for a beginner.

  • Great airplane with plenty of batteries
Color: Red
Very easy to put together and get flying. It’s lightweight, and quite enough it’s to overly loud and annoying. It’s been taking a few hits into the pavement and trees, so the nose cone is starting to pull off. But it still flies fine, and my kids will burn through all the batteries with plenty of flight time. ... show more

tried flying it twice. Propeller ripped off and disconnected wire from motor.

  • Oddly fun, like between a paper airplane and a 4ch+
This airplane was, frankly, kind of bad. However, it still put a smile on my face. I think it's a bit like a paper airplane with some limited extra controls. Also, this thing is SUPER lightweight, so crashes and injury are a nonissue. The cons are, it doesn't really take off on its own, you need to throw it. The throttle is very limited, because even on a windless day, it barely keeps itself aloft. The plastic clips on the tail are hard to engage, using needle nose pliers help. It seems to want to nose dive, so maybe I need to add tape to the rear or something. The turning radius is huge and often causes altitude loss. A football field without nearby trees is a good idea. The nose fell off, I'll be regluing it with silicone glue. As a cheap fun thing, it's great. I'd recommend it for a young kid or a gimmicky thing to mess around with. But don't expect much out of it, you need something in the $100+ price range with moving flaps for it to be something you can really "fly." ... show more
