This car is crazy fast and tons of fun. But for the price you have to give up something. With this you get a great motor and speed controller, metal drivetrain, two 3s 11.1v batteries and 2 bodies, but a cheap steering servo and poor shocks. The shocks appear to be oil-filled but there is no damping whatsoever. I took one shock apart, and it is built like an oil-filled shock, but it was not filled with oil inside. Just wet with oil like it had leaked out. I'd buy some oil and fill it up, but I think all the original oil must have leaked out of all four of them. So I'll just replace those shocks. The steering servo is inexplicably a mini-servo, and the holder for it will only fit another of this small size. But I found an aftermarket mini with metal gears pulling about 5kg/cm, and that should work much better if I can fit the linkage to it. A regular holder for a standard size servo would have given you many more options for steering. But these are easy tradeoffs to fix, so I love the car. ... show more

This car is awesome and fast.Its definitely got some power to it and the controller is surprisingly easy to use and it's definitely durable lol I've flipped it a couple times .. it has good battery life as well. It's pretty light weight.It is a great value for the money. I love this car

***Updated review due to my issue being corrected and my experience has been very different this time around. While the product is not perfect, it is a great bang for you buck! It delivers exceptional value for a fast RC car with a brushless motor for the relatively low price when compared with other top brands. More importantly, the customer service of this company is AMAZING! They fixed my issue even though they didn’t have to. I highly recommend, because of the company especially. They truly do what they can to ensure you are taken cared of. *** Overall, I give the DEERC 200E 1:10 scale RC truck 4 out of 5 stars. I recently purchased this RC car and have been beyond impressed with its speed, durability, and performance across all types of terrain. It handles dirt, gravel, grass and more with ease and has held up incredibly well to daily, high-speed use. DEERC's customer service is also top-notch. When I did have an issue with a broken part, they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of quickly and completely with a replacement and shipped for free. My only critique is with regards to the included remote control. While it is functional and allows the truck to operate properly, the build quality leaves a bit to be desired. The controls could be more responsive and the range could be improved. However, it has not hampered my overall experience too much. Aside from the only average remote control, the DEERC 200E is an exhilarating RC truck that I highly recommend for anyone looking to tear up the terrain in their backyard or at the park. It's an absolute blast to drive and built to last. DEERC's service after the sale is also a huge plus. Poor quality!! dollar general bad, loose thin plastic flimsy as can be thing with brushless motor. Mine broke in the box. Snapped a suspension. Don’t Buy I have no idea how they have a 4+ star rating! We also got a Rlaarlo Omni terminator 1/10 and it’s arrma quality for the same price as this garbage. I mean a real hobby machine. Please don’t buy this you or your kid will be surely disappointed and need a new machine so wasted money. ... show more

This is better than beginner quality. The shocks are not oil filled but grease filled. Do yourself a favor and spend a 20 on oil filled shocks. You'll be happy that you did. The vehicle is fast and durable. It's also easy to control and has a long range from the radio. I purchased this as a way to get into the hobby on the cheap. In my opinion, this car is worth more than the asking price. I bought one for a coworker and now he's hooked. Again, this is better than beginner quality. Unboxed the truck, charged up the batteries and took it out into the yard to try it out. The truck looks nice and beefy and seemed ok but I couldn't get it to track straight. I turned the tracking knob on the controller to compensate but it was still turning left slightly. Not sure if there is an issue with the servo or not yet. I took a few laps around the yard and brought it back to find the lower front control arm broken. After further inspection it looks like a defect in manufacturing where part of the material was missing and cracked. I reached out to the manufacturer to try to get parts but none are available in the USA. I was told to order them and they would take about 30 days to arrive. Not to mention they are not very cheap. I had very high hopes for this truck but was only able to drive for a few minutes due to the defect. I was super excited about this truck and already thinking about buying the 210e but now I'm sceptical due to not being able to source parts easily. I would love to update this review once I can get a replacement for the defective part and actually test the truck out properly. If there is anyway to get front lower control arms without waiting 30 days please let me know. Update: The manufacturer and seller have both reached out to me. I am absolutely impressed with the customer service that I have received. I would absolutely purchase again. ... show more
