The media could not be loaded. This was a ball of fun to play with and would be a 5-star item except for the fact that with its limited ground clearance, it constantly got hung up outside in the gravel of my driveway. Inside or on pavement this thing is great. I honestly do not have a pool or lake to try it in so no comment on its capabilities in the water. This is a pretty neat RC car, it was built to handle both land and water conditions perfect for kids and the adventurous adult like myself. The car is pretty compact in size and comes with all the items needed except the AAA batteries for the controller as expected. The plastic body of the car is durable and can withstand impacts and rough handling, it has large tires that grip well on land and are great for floating on the water. The battery life is decent, lasts about 15-20 minutes of playtime on a full charge. The charging takes a little over 4 hours, only includes one battery so might be more of a once or twice a da toy unless you can get more batteries. The remote control range is good, it allows for enough distance to see the car, the controller is also water proof so you can take it in the pool with you.     • Fast, fun, but ultimately flawed

When I got this for my kids, they were very intrigued by it. We loaded the car/boat with batteries, added batteries to the controller, and got the wrist-controller ready and we headed to the pool. My son had a blast (literally) driving this thing around and squirting unknowing people with a shot of water and then drive off. They were having a lot of fun in that regard. The one thing that doesn't work really well is the use of this in the water. Because of the weight distribution, the car/boat wants to flip over with the gun under the water. If you flip it back over, it will work for a little while, but I think the car/boat itself is made so its center of gravity makes it want to flip over and work while the gun is under the water, thus defeating some of the reason why you get something like this. The pictures show the gun squirting people while it is floating on the top, so it's their selling point, but it doesn't work very well. Other than that, moving to land and loading it up with water, this is a really fun squirt gun on wheels. ... show more

I really like this radio control (RC) car, tank, and boat. It's all of three in one toy. My only nit with the toy that it took almost four hours to fully charge the battery - no big deal. Setup was easy - install the provided battery in the toy and two AAA batteries in the controller (not included - oh, another nit). The battery wells in the toy and the controller are heavily sealed to prevent water from entering these compartments. The car can run on land or water. The great feature of the toy is the water shooting cannon. By pressing a button on the controller, the RC car/boat shoots a stream of water about 8 feet - it's really cool. The toy is easy to operate and is responsive to the controller commands. My grandkids played with the car in the pool today and thoroughly enjoyed it. This was not recommended for my grandsons age so I borrowed the neighbors kids...ha! They had fun with it in my pool. To be honest I didn't think it was anything special but I imagine it's not me who should like it, right? They are brother & sister, 8 & 10, and they both said they wanted one. (I'm sure I'll pass it to them in a few months. It'll definitely still be warm enough for the pool. I'm going to add some floaty blocks I also got recently because I think it'll be a nice addition. The grandkids absolutely love this amphibious RC car. It's easy to control, and even the 3-year-old can move it around, although the tricks and fancy moves are left to the older kids. Watching them take turns with the remote is entertaining, as the “victim” quickly becomes the “aggressor” once they get their hands on the controls, all in good fun, of course. The car moves smoothly on both land and water. The lights and sounds make their playtime even more engaging. It’s durable too, holding up well against the inevitable bumps and crashes.
