Since the item page has good photos, videos and it has a good description of this product, I will not bother adding pictures or more of a description. This is a very nice wheel chair that has many nice features. Both side arms and sides folds up to make it easier to get on to a toilet, bed, or seat. There are metal bars on the bottom to use your feet and arms to help tilt the chair up. There are standard brakes for people wheeling themselves, or if someone is pushing you, it comes with handbrakes on the push handles (like a bike). The handles fold down, and the foot rests are removable to make it easier to fit into a car or for better storage. The wheels are anti puncture so it will not go flat. The wheels have good tread so if you need to use the brakes or maneuver better. The seat comes with a seat belt to hold someone in the seat so they might not slip out at a short stop etc. The seat and seat back is very comfortable, but for longer periods of time, I would suggest a seat cushion. On the back of the seat there is a holder to hold papers, folders etc. As far as the weight it does way with the foot rest at ~38.6-Ib. Without them they are ~3.5 LB less. I really don't know how elderly people (depending on their age) would be able to lift this into a car, but if they are strong, the might. For me I would highly recommend this to anyone. ... show more

This is a nice wheelchair, however it is NOT lightweight Luckily I read the description first and saw it was nearly 40 pounds The chair is heavy duty and built well It has wheels that allow to passenger to roll themselves if necessary Lightly padded back and seat Locking wheels Moveable footrest Folds for storage but again it is bulky IMO it's a nice home chair but too large for traveling with ... show more

    • Very Solid and Stable Chair That Handles Less Than Ideal Terrain But Very Heavy

This is an excellent self propelled wheelchair. It came almost fully assembled and folds up relatively compact for travel and storage. It handles even my gravel driveway - whereas my last did not. Nice tires for varied terrain. It is very comfortable and totally solid and stable with my 220 pound weight. But this weighs just a tad under 40 pounds and is too heavy for me, an elder, to easily put into a vehicle without assistance. So be sure to take that into consideration. Such great quality! Comes pre built so nothing you have to do except unfold it! The seat is very comfortable and it has a seatbelt as well. My only issue is trying to fold it back up the buttons seem stuck or I’m weak so I’ll have my fiancé try it later today. Overall would recommend!
