We have been very happy with our purchase of this fan! Love love love that it has a remote! It’s super quiet, almost too quiet if you like the noise. 😂 My only complaint is the buttons are on the louder side, so when you go to turn it on or adjust speeds it makes a noise.

SYNOPSIS The price point might feel a bit hefty to you, but this is a sturdy, well-built fan that is relatively easy to assemble, pushes a good column of air, and has adjustable height. Along with a (much more expensive) Vornado 660, I use it to cool my play area for Meta Quest 2 VR gaming/fitness sessions. This Amazon Basics model easily rivals the Vornado in terms of circulation at about half the price. If I could go back in time, I would buy two of this fan instead of one Vornado and one of this fan. DETAILED Difficulty Level - How Hard Was This To Use? [_] Beginner [_] Novice [x] Competent [_] Advanced [_] Expert Assembling the fan will take you a little bit of muscle, a little bit of time, and a little bit of patience. I found attaching the second fan head (which also serves as the "screw" for the primary fan head) was counter-intuitive, but I was assembling this in low lighting. I turned up the lights and saw the arrows describing that this second fan head needed to be screwed on OPPOSITE the normal grain (righty tighty lefty loosey) of a typical US screw. One other point of nuisance -- it was tedious and annoyingly difficult to seat the fan guards in the plastic ring. The ring itself feels like the cheapest part of the design, too. I can imagine that component getting snapped by a person who got irritated enough. Build Quality [_] This felt very poorly designed, and I recommend against buying it. [_] This felt poorly designed, but "your mileage may vary." [x] This felt like it was adequately designed, with no big pros or cons.
