This is not a high quality set of pots, but they are functional and, for our family, they are indispensible. We had a similar set for over ten years and used them often, especially when we cook a big batch of soup for the family. (Not sure where all those of old pots are hiding!)

I like to can (less time having to go shopping), so I needed a bigger pot other than my pressure cooker . This is good for the price and I use it for all my canning purposes. The material is a little thin and looks like it can be easily bent. I forgot to put something at the bottom before I out the cans in the water bath and burn spots in the form of my cans formed at the bottom. When canning I suggest lower temp (medium max) and longer wait time due to the the things of the material, I wouldn't be surprised if the bottom melted out. ... show more

Why put labels on with the kind of adhesive that requires full-strength acetone and an hour of careful scrubbing to get the product label off the side of the pot without scratching it up? Then the adhesive transferred to my hands and I had to use acetone to get it off my skin, which can't be healthy. I'm sure the pot will do it's job just fine but whoever's in charge of the labeling needs to rethink things or get a different job. ... show more

    • Very low quality, pieces bent and missing.

Received these Monday and I am VERY disappointed. They are very thin....something I could probably deal with but, my 16 quart was bent, both pot and lid and lid is very scratched. The 12 quart lid is bent and the 6 quart lid is missing altogether. There are labels on all 4 pots (seems silly to put a label on every piece when it's a set) that is IMPOSSIBLE to remove!! I haven't tried again after reading the reviews (I should have read before I purchased and usually do) I DO NOT recommend and frankly they should be ashamed to pawn such a subpar item off on folks!! Just because it's inexpensive doesn't mean it has to be garbage! I've contacted them and am awaiting their response. We shall see how that goes? ... show more
