I didn’t see a remote control, just the turn knob on the fan itself. I bought a separate plug that’s remote controlled for this. It did say make sure whatever I’m attaching to could hold 65 lbs and our Allen and Roth 12x10 gazebo said max was 50 lbs so hopefully it holds up. We’ll probably take it down during bad weather. It works great. Doesn’t blow air around the rented space. Mostly just straight down. Overall we like it ... show more

No remote that would be nice, but I just hung it on the hook in the gazebo and plugged it in. I just use a remote controlled outlet. Small but moves plenty of air.

This fan is nice looking and cools pretty well. The only complaint I would say is that it is a ceiling fan but it does not have a remote. This means that if you want to change speeds or to push the button to turn it off you have to unplug the fan to or climb a ladder. I strongly encourage the company to redesign it so that it is more user friendly . Include a remote to control the speeds and to turn it on and off. ... show more

Even though the description of the product specifically stated there is a remote control, there is not. Very disappointing since it is hard to reach the control from the ground without a ladder or stool. Otherwise a nice fan.

We purchased this fan to go on our deck underneath our 12x10 ft steel gazebo. It is perfect and was very easy to install. It has great circulation and helps keep the patio cool and very enjoyable to sit out on a hot day. We purchased the remote control adapter in addition, as the ceiling is too high in the gazebo to reach the controls on the fan. We LOVE it! Very highly recommend! ... show more

We really were pleased with the fan. Didn't find it to be noisy. Did a good job circulating the air. Thought it looked good in the gazebo. Had many people say they liked the way it looked as well.
